Review: I had met with someone from Country Gentlemen that is in charge of the catering and had gone over the food and what they offered. She said that they do a great Lasagna that would be within our budget so I confirmed with our group and called back the next day and ordered the large pans of Lasagna. We ordered 6 large pans of Lasagna for a dinner of 120 people and prepaid for them with a credit card. They do deliver but would not be able to on Saturday afternoon, so we picked them up. We ordered them for 4:00 on Saturday and picked them up at 4:30. We had to wait for about 20 minutes. They were covered in foil so we did not see them so we loaded them up and delivered them to the dinner. As we uncovered them to serve at the dinner they were all burnt. The sides were burnt and so was the bottom and we had no choice but to serve them for the lasagna was the main dish for the evening and we did not have time to change or go anywhere else to find a replacement entre for 120 people. We had to try to not scrape the bottom to not serve the burnt bottom or sides. We apologized to the dinner guests and they were very polite and ate it any ways, what was their choice?There was no cheese or meat only sauce and noodles and very little sauce, it was very dry. I was very disappointed and have saved some of the lasagna to show the catering business.I emailed the person in charge that night to let her know of the problem. She emailed back and apologized and said that she would check with her boss and get back to me.I have emailed her a bunch of more times and nothing. I hope this is not the kind of food that they serve at their restaurant. And the lesson learned here is; "Do not go to the Country Gentlemen for food or catering." They did not do a good job, they did not stand behind their work, they sold burnt food, they did not take care of their customers, they did not respond to a complaint and they must have a terrible chef cause that was the worst lasagna ever.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded for being sold lousy burnt food for a event.

I checked on this complaint, personally. On June 13, we refunded Ms. [redacted] $194.91 to her credit card. This amount was ½ of Ms. [redacted]’s invoice of $389.92. [redacted], my wife, did tell me that she had sent an email immediately after you and she spoke. I have sent this email requesting a read receipt just to be sure that we didn’t end up in junk mail or disappear due to some other on our part.

Thank you for looking into this for me. Country Gentlemen did contact me and was polite and we did come to an agreement.
