Dear Sirs,In response to MrC [redacted] complaintI requested pictures (standard procedure) from him so we could have a visual and address the problemHowever, the pictures we received showed the customer vehicle had an obvious (clear coat paint) peeling issueBoth the technician and myself explained there are no tools that we use that can create this as the molding has a rubber flap which sits on the glass and the clip tool which is used to release each molding clip is placed between the rubberized flap and the glass I further explained to him the peeling looks aged and that BMW has been having a paint problem for the last couple of yearsWe forwarded him a few blogs noting other BMW owners complaints regarding same.We are willing to settle any claims as long as we are responsible for the damages and as evidenced by the attached pictures we are clearly not at faultThe customer needs to contact BMW.Thank you for the opportunity to maintain AAA standard through your organization.Sincerely,S [redacted] WTG

The order was placed at 4:pm and the site listed their hours as being until pm The scheduling software even offered times on the Saturday and Sunday as options for having the installation - I chose a time on Monday afternoon and received an email acknowledgement confirming that time has been accepted According to their customer support, their office closed at pm EST and I am in Colorado There was no indication on the site that they were not a Colorado company and as I mentioned, their booking service confirmed the appointment for Monday It was not until near noon on Monday that I received a call saying they would not be able to do the installation for another week

This order was placed after hours on Friday requesting an appointment for the next Monday afternoon (Our offices are closed over the weekend). We often use multiple installers in an area and can get someone out same day in some cases. We explain in a note at checkout that we will check availability...

In the morning when we came in on the 17th, we called our installer and he said he would pick up the glass at our warehouse instead of the delay of us having the glass delivered. He said he could make it...
to you before 1pm and then said it would be later after you called saying he had not showed. Our installers are instructed to call if they are running late and he failed to do so. (The installer was being dishonest if he told you he did not have your info until the next day) You canceled the order. We sent you a message that your order had been canceled at 1:38 PM the 17th. Your credit card had been authorized only and not charged. Authorizations fall off at a time determined by your bank. If the card used is a debit card the funds are put on hold. Dear Sirs,Based on the customers explaination of where the crack developed (in the center of the windshield), I explained that it is highly unlikely the result of a defective glass. He questioned how it could have happened and I explained windshields usually stress on top, bottom or sides but never...
generating from the middle of the glass. The glass had to have been impacted by an object and pitted which eventually spread into a crack. The customer was adamant his glass was not struck. I requested pictures so I could have a visual and be better able to assess his problem. From the pictures presented there was an obvious pit right in the center of the crack. In fact there were approximately 13 pits that I counted. I explained the cold temperatures along with the direct defrosting of the windshield causes glass to expand and contract and any pits on the glass can develop into a crack. The customer said his glass was dirty and what I'm seeing are dirt marks. I told him I will send an installer on site so he can give him a more professional opinion. He will bring a replacement glass with him. If it is a stress crack the replacement will be covered under warranty. However if his assessment is that the glass is pitted which led to a crack, we have to discuss a method of payment as it is not covered under warranty. Windshields to go prides itself in addressing and solving each complaint as best as possible. However, based on the evidence provided this glass did not stress crack and neither is it a defective glass, we are not able to honor a Manufacturers Defect Warranty at this time.
