May 20, Please be advised:On April 10th,2014, merchandise ordered by [redacted] , was shipped to [redacted] .We were called on May 13th, 2014, by a very nasty lady [redacted] .She was not happy-claimed that no one orderhad authority to do so.We told her UPS will pick up the merchandise, at our expenseShe hung up the phone before we were able to assure her.We use UPS for all our services.A call tag was issued for our merchandise on May 13th, As of today, we have not received our merchandise back.She will not owe us for the merchandise when it is returned to us.Thank you for your time,

I am rejecting this response because: *** *** did not ever place an order for the items sent as stated beforeTheir response is a lie which should be obvious by the multiple complaints filed similar to oursThis company is in the business of scamming consumers by sending products that were never ordered and then billing them a ridiculous amount for a product that has very little value hoping that the invoice slips through the accounts payable department by attaching an employees name to the orderWe received a box of earplugs and a box of face masksAfter searching for the exact same products online it is found that both of these have a retail value of approx $15-$and we were billed $and $respectivelyThis is outrageousWe have never opened the boxes sent to us and have not used any of the materialsAny reputable company will gladly accept returns on products that are unopenedOnce again this is in addition to the fact that we NEVER ordered them to begin withWe have asked the company to pick up the products sent and to refund our money but they have been clear that they are not interested in doing thisI expect the company to provide a reasonable resolve to this problem ASAP

February 17,In response to your letter of February 10,2015.We never have shipped or offered samplesOur carrier is ***If we are not in the office our answering machine is always on

October 23, 2014In response to your letter of February 3,2017:Merchandise was ordered by a [redacted]. It was shipped by [redacted] and received. If there was a problem with the order and if they called US we would have had [redacted] pick up the merchandise. We do not ship unless merchandise was ordered. [redacted]...

never ordered by anyone at this company. Not only was it not ordered, but it was sent to a company that does not exist at this address. After receiving the box, we kept it off to the side because there was no invoice, packing slip or contact information from the sender.  About a week later we received an invoice for an ridiculous amount of money.  We also do not have anyone by the name of [redacted] that works here!!If you read the reviews of this company on line, you will see that this company "SCAM'S" people and companies into accepting their overly priced goods. As a matter of fact the [redacted] that was sent to us for well over $20.00 per can can be purchased all day long at the price of $3.99 per can.His statement is also incorrect about my foul language. The reason I say this is because when I complained that he was trying to scam us, he called me an ae!!!  After this man called me an [redacted] is when I became very irritated on the phone and used a few fine words for him as well.The merchandise was only sent back after I demanded that he have [redacted] pick it up and delete our invoice.  I am sure that he will be scamming someone else into purchasing these overpriced goods!!My suggestion is that you do much needed research on this company and report it accordingly!Regards,

I am rejecting this response because:
 First off. we at [redacted], NEVER ORDERED ANYTHING. I repeat NEVER ORDERED ANYTHING. from Country Industries.  Nor had we EVER contacted them. They cold called us . Their caller ask IF we ever used certain products. NEVER was an order placed or even discussed. Never was ANY price or cost of shipping ever mentioned.They only mentioned  SAMPLES . The caller even mentioned meeting for lunch ,prior to any purchase ,which would give the impression  that they were a LOCAL entity near us in The [redacted] Oregon.  Which they are not. Apparently they are from Pennsylvania ? The entire issue is one of FRAUD and misrepresentation. EVERY purchase we make from any other company comes WITH the bill and is NOT sent separate to a different department. We are a small company , we employ less than a dozen people and can NOT afford such a fraudulent LOSS. The TOTAL cost of ALL the products at any other retailer is less than $150.  Shipping cost is also only around $50. Total. Not their price of over $1165. Something must be done to STOP and EVEN punish this type of CRIMINAL activity. I will NOT remain SILENT on this issue until RESOLVED.

I am rejecting this response because:While I understand that this individual believes that he sent me product with adequate authorization he is incorrect. He did not even get the correct name for the individual who supposedly gave him approval. I am unable to locate the product that he claims he sent and therefore I am unable to return the product in question. In regards to calling me "nasty" I would like to state that I never cursed at him on the phone nor have I ever called him a name, I wish I could say the same for him. He repeatedly used the "f" word on the phone with me and said that he couldn't believe that he ever contemplated doing business with us and that this situation was unbelievable. He was verbally abusive towards me on the phone. He also lied to me repeatedly on the phone saying that someone else had called and got authorization which in reality he was "salesperson". His behavior is reprehensible and business practices are horrific and predatory.

Review: Country Industries solicited our business in regards to ear plugs. They told an employee who was not authorized to make purchasing decisions that they would send him a free box of earplugs. We received the earplugs and later an invoice for 46.28 for the earplugs and shipping charges. When I contacted the company on 5/12/2014 I was told by the gentleman that answered the phone that our employee must have spoken with one of his salespeople and authorized the purchase. I informed him that the purchase was not authorized by an appropriate party and that we would not pay it due to the lack of a PO# and authorization. He then admitted that he was the salesperson who spoke to the employee originally. I told him that I did not appreciate the way he spoke to us and that I would not be paying the invoice. He said that he wanted the product back and that he would swing by and get it. I asked him how he intended to do that since he was in Pennsylvania and I am in Idaho, he the said that he meant that he would send UPS to collect the product. Again a blatant lie. This is a horrible business practice.Desired Settlement: I would like him to void invoice #[redacted] for a total of $46.28 and never contact us again.

Review: A person from Country Industries called and ask if our company uses earplugs, dust masks and spray lube. I answered yes. He then said he would like to send me some samples, that he would then like to meet for lunch at some time to discuss a possible purchase. I later received 2 boxes of ear plugs and a box of paper dust masks and later a case of 12 cans of spray lube, I held on to the products awaiting his arrival ." for lunch some day". He never arrived. I recently found that they had been sending bills to my accounting department over $1164 for these products, WITHOUT authorization .Mistakenly my accounting department paid $868.16 . I called and ask for a refund and the manager Bill W[redacted] refused. Their sales practices are shady to say the least. They sent the products under the guise of them being samples, now They will not accept the return of the product for a refund. all of which I can purchase locally for under $200. why would I pay anyone over $1100 for the same. None of the packages I received had a bill or shipper attached. I STRONGLY object to this UNETHICAL business practice.Desired Settlement: Country Industries should pay for all return shipping of their product and refund us the $868.16 we already have paid them.
