Country Inn of Lancaster

Review: We were charged for a reservation we never made. I had called reguarding reservations we had in March to cancel because I saw a charge for $89.98 and one for $9.90. They told me it was a hold that would fall off now that I had cancelled. When that did not happen I called my bank. Who said that it was a debit that had to be refunded. I call the inn who tells me that they made a refund back on the 3rd that must just not have showed yet. More time goes by and I call again. Now I'm told that the charge was for a november 3rd reservation that we didn't show up for. We never made any such reservation. I tell the GM this and only offers a credit for a future stay. I am out of money that I don't have and was charged bounce fee's due to charges that I knew nothing about. I don't want to set foot in a place where I don't trust them. The Gm said to call [redacted].com who booked reservation. I did and they have no record of it. So [redacted].com calls the Inn and [redacted] at the front desk says that the reservation was made directly thru the hotel. I call the Inn and [redacted] sends me to voicemail. My husband calls Inn and says to not send him to voicemail and [redacted] says I spoke to GM we looked the account again. It was made thru [redacted].com. [redacted]. com has no record and the inn told [redacted] that it was made thru hotel. so somone is lying and I am out of almost $100.Desired Settlement: I want my money back. If there was something more they could do I would want it due to the stress and finanical hardship this has caused but I wouldn't stay there even for free because I'd worry they would charge me somehow.
