Country Inn & Suites by Radisson

Long Post ALERT......

On Thursday , March 19, 2020.....Checked in at the hotel Country Inn and Suites by Radisson in Albany, GA (Real country). Checkin was easy, but the bedroom linens were soiled. There were hairs on the sheet, bed sheet were dirty and dusty. Grease/ *** mark spots were on pillow cases.
We checked in at 430pm, got in the room, placed our bags down, left to get food, came back and immediately got ready to go to church service. we got back to the room at around midnight from church. We took showers, and when it was time to go to bed my daughters told me that the bed was dirty and they was going to sleep on their blankets that they brought with them. after realizing what was really happening I told them to get off the bed so I can see what they're talking about. Indeed the lines were soiled. I immediately call the front desk to complain and I told the Front desk staff (Austin) to come up and see exactly what I was talking about. He did just that, when he saw the sheets he agreed and apologize and brought me clean linen... The one he brought up were also stained smh. I told him that the manager has

to do something about this because its unsanitary and due to *** proper decontamination process needs to be enforced. he messaged his boss right away
and told me the GM will be in at 9/10 the following morning. Next morning around 10am I called the front desk for the GM (Alwc E), they said he wasn't there and they took my contact information. I called back around 1230pm, they said the same thing. I saw housekeeping at around 1pm and complained about the soiled linen. At around 4pm my daughters and I left the room to get food. When I went downstairs to the front desk, I asked to speak with the GM Aleck E, the 2 agents looked at each other, then they both went in the back and came back and then one agent name Sara F said the manager wasn't there. I said really. Then I said I've been calling multiple to get in contact with the GM, he has not even returned my call or whatsoever .

I asked her to contact the GM, she said he is not there. I then asked Sara, who is the owner she said a man by the name of Patel. I said can you give me his number, she said she cannot give me the number. I said ok fine, please call him so I can speak to him. She then called Alec E the GM. I then took her phone and proceeded to speak to alec GM. after explaining the issue. he told me that he was in and out of office ***. I told him that he could've at least called me to follow up. he said he's been busy with *** is MORE PRECEDENT than my soiled sheets. ***, you all suppose to ensure staff double check and make c sure all things are cleaned and disinfected. I told him I need to be reimbursed for the first night because I booked my reservation long enough and I was not suppose to meet hairs all over my bed sheets.

Alex said that once the agent gave me new linen that the problem was rectify. and if it was a clogged toilet then he would refund me but I got clean sheets brought up for me so that's it. I told him that my linens were soiled and I dont want to have to take it further because of soiled linen and he needs to do something about adjusting my bill. He said well I can take it up with corporate because he is the GM and he's not making any changes.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING AT THAT HOTEL TO ANYONE. I am a consumer as well as a business owner. I also know that customers are NOT always right, but in a situation like this, and with what is going on the world right now.... SANITATION IS A BIG THING, and my kids and I were not treated fairly. I spend money for what I want, I pay my money, but if the service or product is HORRIBLE I am going to voice it.

The pictures are not that clear, but when the agent came up to the room he said yes he sees that they're not cleaned and he apologized immediately. He also stated that the managers don't like to buy stuff for the hotels the don't like to spend money and purchase new things so he knows he definitely won't do anything about it, but he Austin will get me clean linens

After receiving a reservation confirmation, I was told it was cancelled when I arrived at the hotel.
I am a *** We use *** to make hotel, airline, and car rental reservations. On February ***, 2019 *** made a hotel reservation on my behalf for February *** at the Country Inn & Suites hotel in Albany, GA. I was staying for one night TDY. My hotel reservation confirmation allowed for late check in. It took approximately hours to drive to Albany, GA from my permanent office location. I arrived around 6pm Eastern time. When I attempted to check in, I was told that my reservation had been cancelled. When I asked by whom was it cancelled, I was told by the representative that their computer was cancelling reservations through a computer glitch. I spoke to the manager to see if I could get another room, but I was told that there were no more rooms available. I asked what time did the computer start cancelling reservations and I was told it started at 2:58pm. I stated that I should have been notified as soon as they knew I no longer had a reservation. The manager helped me find a room at a nearby hotel. It was not a very good area crimewise, but I would have had to drive another 45 minutes to get a better hotel in a better area. I had already been working for 6 hours before I started driving to the Country Inn & Suites hotel. I was too tired to do anymore driving, so I stayed at the other hotel for the night.
