Country Inn & Suites New Orleans Airport

Review: I will NEVER again stay at this hotel due to the utterly disgusting sleeping conditions and the total lack of respect from the General Manager, who would not give us his name, but I believe it to be [redacted]. I have photographic evidence from the two rooms that my family slept in that had mattress covers fully covered with bodily stains due to urine or some other human fluid. Our stay was June 14-16, 2014. Additionally our room had what appeared to be mold along the left side of the window. When their maintenance man went to our room on Monday, his comment was "No, it's just dust." I have a photo of this as well. The reason I suspected mold is that the rooms AC unit leaked to where water was 4-5 feet from unit soaking the carpet. When we first checked in Saturday night, our first room also had the wet carpet out to about 8 feet and the person at the front desk said she could not fix it because the maintenance man does not work on the weekends. Really? She ultimately changed the room for my wife an I, but as I already mentioned, I wished she hadn't as we ended up in a room with possible mold and human stains on the mattress covers. Upon checkout, our complaints were met with disdain. Check out person said "We can offer you $20 off" was the first response. When I asked for full comp, the General Manager, after hearing our complaints, accused us of producing the stains. Outrageous! When I asked for his card. he refused. When I asked for his name he said "General Manager." I asked him again, he said "I am through with you." Then told the clerk to rescind even the $20 discount. My wife didn't think he understood that we were talking about the mattress cover underneath the sheet not the Sheet that was slept on that by the way had NO STAINS! As she was trying to explain the situation again, he walked off and rudely told her "I am done talking" and walked away toward the elevators. Speaking of elevators, the certificate of inspection was EXPIRED!Desired Settlement: Two nights two rooms fully comp'd. City health inspector visit as soon as possible to this hotel. If we found 3 health issues, who knows how many more there are?
