pass background checks, obtain Food Handlers card, First Aid/CPR and complete 20 basic hours of training and child care procedures (STARS Hours).Children are provided Breakfast, Morning snack, Lunch and Afternoon snack, which all include milk and or water to drink. As mentioned in complaint, children were provided water, I can not however speculate as to why the complainant's child was not drinking water, the child could have refused water at the time. At the time this incident occurred that parent would have been encouraged to ask why their child was not drinking water. With the parent mentioning the number of accidents their child had would lead to us believing the child was receiving plenty of hydration throughout the day. Children are always encouraged to drink water and water is also provided when outside.Incident reports are given when any biting occurs. The incident is detailed and copy provided to the parent. If the parent has questions about the incident they are encouraged to ask the teacher. If their questions are not answered at that level they are encouraged to address their concerns to the program manager.Teachers work hard to help support potty training needs with parents. Accidents do happen. If accidents were to occur as frequently as reported, parent would have been asked to bring diapers in or use pull ups to help in the training process.Facility is licensed and follows all state requirements.

Review: My children have been attending this daycare center for a few years. In the last several months they have had multiple new employees and I do not know if this is what has contributed to the bad service we experienced. When I went to pick up my children, their hands, face and clothing were dirty. It seemed that they fed the kids a snack and took them outside to play but never wiped their hand or face or changed them into the clean clothing that I had provided. My son, twice in the last two weeks, begged for water as soon as I arrived. all the other children in his class were drinking something except for him. one of the days his voice was hoarse and when I opened the door he ran straight to the sink asking for water. The last 10 days he was there, he was bitten by another child 4 different times. We were given an incident report but were told that other than him being bitten they had no clue who did it or what actually happened. Finally we are working on potty training. When I picked him at the end of the day.. EVERYDAY, I was given at least three sets of clothing because he had an "accident" yet at his new daycare, there have been no accidents. ultimately I did what was best for my children and left this center. other parents need to be warned about this facility.Desired Settlement: I will never take my children back, but at the very least this Center needs to be looked at as far as whether they are actually following the state rules, etc. There is no reason for ANY child to be begging for water, or being bitten and nothing being done about it.
