[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I have been married to [redacted] since and we regularly make purchases together Jan M [redacted] was told of our relationship on my first phone call when I first questioned the policyI was told there would be no charge if I shipped the item back at my own expense on one of the many phone calls I made to this business attempting to straighten this situation outJan M [redacted] told me she would check with others that work for her regarding the matter - at that time I did not know she was the owner and could make that decision herselfYou can read the email attached by Jan M [redacted] to see what was said were not threats - They are all actions within my rights as a consumer I offered to purchase a replacement chandelier from her if there was no return fee - So she would not lose our businessThere may be a link to her policy, but the policy should be actually on her first page There are many links on her page MrsM [redacted] was also rude and condescending in our subsequent phone conversations - Not an issue to me, but I do not understand why she is characterizing me as a threatening consumer We are still looking to become financially whole and would like the balance of the money owed to us returned at Jan M***'s earliest convenienceIn full disclosure, I have also contacted [redacted] to let them know of the situation I am hoping that if Jan M [redacted] does not do the right thing by the consumer, the actual manufacturer mightI would also like to know if there is a second stage to this process or if the Revdex.com just mediated communication between partiesAgain, if you need any copies of emails from me, please let me know Thank You, Regards, [redacted] l

The original sale was with *** ***, when I spoke on the phone with her she was pleasant and understandingWe later received a not so pleasant phone call from *** ***, he proceeded to make several threatsThe statement issued to
you by *** *** contains inaccuraciesThe *** were never told that if they paid return shipping they would not be subject to the 25% restocking feeThey were refunded $which was $less than there original payment of $247.95We could have charged *** $for the 25% restocking fee however we wanted to cut her a break and so we only charges our costs, which came to $My website clearly states our return policies, you can get there from any web page on CountryLivingPrimitives.com by clicking the Shopping info link at the top or the Policies link at the bottom*** clearly understood the restocking fee when she called to return the chandelier; she was disappointed but understanding about the return fee when she ended her phone call, after which she decided to go ahead and return the chandelier*** *** made several threats and is bent on trying to destroy my business, his claims to the Revdex.com are an attempt at doing that and should not even be documented by the Revdex.comSincerelyCountry Living PrimitivesJan M

I contend the claims by *** *** are unfounded for the following reasons We never sold anything to *** ***, we did sell something to a *** *** who may or may not be related to ***, however the last time we talked to *** she was friendly, understanding and accepting of our policies2. The additional response from *** also contains a number of inaccuracies.• Threats were made if we failed to meet *** ***'s demands• Threats were made if we failed to meet *** ***'s demandsThe statement that "He was told the restocking fee would not apply, if they paid the return shipping..." is totally falseNeither, *** or *** was told thatI have attached a Copy of ***s *** review, which you can read for yourself by *** Country Living Primitives and reading the reviews, ***'s review revealsHe was not under that impression when the chandelier was shipped back• The restocking costs do not change when the item is shipped back to the manufacturer; the chandelier still needs to be unpacked, inspected, cleaned and restockedIn fact the reason we could give *** a break on the restocking fee was because we didn't have shipping costs to send it back as *** returned it directly to the manufacturer
• I was in no way unpleasant or unprofessional to ***, unfortunately I was unable to comply with his demands
• The claim that our policy is not present on the front page of the website or when you buy is totally falseYou can visit www.country living primitives.com and you can see for yourself that there is a SHOPPING INFO Policy Link located front & center of every page and a POLICES link on the bottom of every page*** Archives will reveal that this has been this way since • The restocking fee includes more than just the cost to ship the item backAs previously stated it includes the cost to unpack, inspect, clean and return the item to inventory3. *** purchase on our website, is her consent to abide by our policies(See Attached) Policies
