Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: [David Dunning is again misrepresenting the facts in this transaction I personally inspected the first order he was sending and rejected some of it which he sent anyway That order was missawn so the tongue and groove wouldn't fit together, which couldn't be seen until the contractor began to put on the wall We used sqfeet of the material, and the remaining amount was returned when his father arrived to deliver a replacement order I was not there to reject the second order, nor was my contractor present, but the replacement order was wet (28% humidity as tested by our floor installer on his instrument) and was not White Pine wood, as the original order specified and acknowledged on the invoice Thus, his printed statement on his invoice that it was not returnable did not apply since he did not properly fulfill the order on either delivery Neither delivery of wood was usable When he told me he only received back sqft of White Pine, that told me that he had shorted us in the original delivery which was to be sqft He took back all wood which we did not use, and I have photos of what is presently on the wall that we used Our carpenters kept a careful measure of what was used, and we measured what is currently on the wall - sqft His accusation that we used more than that is false.David Dunning did not request that we pay for the return delivery of the wood as he refused to accept responsibility for sending water soaked hardwoods instead of dry antique white pine recycled wood He has showed us that he is untrustworthy by not supplying us with the type and quantity of wood for which we contracted, and why I request a refund for the cost of 1,sqftof wood which we have not received I did not request a refund for the $I paid for delivery of the wood, and will gladly arrange a return of the second order once I have receipt of a refund He was paid in advance for sqft of dry recycled antique white pine wood, sawn with tongue and groove for use as interior paneling in a house To date we have not received this order. My correspondence with David Dunning is on file as part of this complaint, and will support my efforts to straighten out the situation fairly before I was forced to file this complaint In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

To Who It May Concern: I have thoroughly responded to this customer on sever occasions and have many emails to prove itThe simple fact remains that *** *** inspected the material prior to delivery and subsequently accepted the deliveryI made several attempts to rectify her issue but
nothing other than a refund was acceptable, even though we have a no refund policy clearly printed in bold letters on all our invoicesIn this case I was also unwilling to refund her money because she used several hundred square feet of the material and misrepresented how much was available for return*** *** was also unwilling to incur the cost of shipping the material back from Maine even though we had already been there a second time at our own costSo, in spite of the costs involved in a refund and a dispute over how much was used, she was still unwilling to accept anything other than a full refundI cannot incur any more costs on this order, nor can I return any material that was installed and therefore not available for returnI also do not want to have any more dealings with a customer that has threatened several times in writing to defame me publicly when the only solution I won't offer her is a refund, which is clearly stated and understood prior to placing an orderWe have this policy because all of our orders are custom milled and therefore costs are incurred that are not recoupable, should we offer a refund Thank You, David D*** President P - ###-###-#### F - ###-###-####***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[David Dunning is again misrepresenting the facts in this transaction.  I personally inspected the first order he was sending and rejected some of it which he sent anyway.  That order was missawn so the tongue and groove wouldn't fit together, which couldn't be seen until the contractor began to put on the wall.  We used 202 sq. feet of the material, and the remaining amount was  returned when his father arrived to deliver a replacement order.  I was not there to reject the second order, nor was my contractor present, but the replacement order was wet (28% humidity as tested by our floor installer on his instrument) and was not White Pine wood, as the original order specified and acknowledged on the invoice.  Thus, his printed statement on his invoice that it was not returnable did not apply since he did not properly fulfill the order on either delivery.  Neither delivery of wood was usable.  When he told me he only received back 800 sq. ft of White Pine, that told me that he had shorted us in the original delivery which was to be 1250 sq. ft.  He took back all wood which we did not use, and I have photos of what is presently on the wall that we used.  Our carpenters kept a careful measure of what was used, and we measured what is currently on the wall - 202 sq. ft.  His accusation that we used more than that is false.David Dunning did not request that we pay for the return delivery of the wood as he refused to accept responsibility for sending water soaked hardwoods instead of dry antique white pine recycled wood.  He has showed us that he is untrustworthy by not supplying us with the type and quantity of wood for which we contracted, and why I request a refund for the cost of 1,000 sq. ft. of wood which we have not received.  I did not request a refund for the $750 I paid for delivery of the wood, and will gladly arrange a return of the second order once I have receipt of a refund.  He was paid in advance for 1250 sq. ft of dry recycled antique white pine wood, sawn with tongue and groove for use as interior paneling in a house.  To date we have not received this order. My correspondence with David Dunning is on file as part of this complaint, and will support my efforts to straighten out the situation fairly before I was forced to file this complaint.
