Review: Good evening!My father was a patient at Seal Beach Country Villa until 1/3/2014. He was admitted approximately 12/18. On 1/4/2014, my mother received a bill from this facility with a billing cycle thru January 31, 2014.I have left at least 3 voice mails(there is never anyone available when I call). The business office staff, the business office manager nor the administrator have called me back.I find this practice deplorable! When it came time to find another facility for my father, Country Villa's staff of social workers, dscharge planners etc didn't fulfill their words of assistance when it came time to discharge my father. My mother was informed that my father had to leave because of his increased dementia-which was completely understandable but the manner in which this was done was terrible.Upon proper 24 hour notice and after arrangements had been made for my father, my mother was informed that she could not remove my father until 4;30 on the afternoon of the 3rd-although she wasn't given an explanation as to why. I believe this time frame was given so that the facility could charge my mother another full day's rate.I originally had a concern about the bill but since my mother has yet to receive a corrected bill and I have not received a call back from Country Villa Seal Beach, my concern has turned into a complaint.I did also file a complaint with the California Dept of Public Health.Thank you for your time. I can be reached at [redacted]cell), my work number [redacted] or my home number of [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like my mother to receive a corrected bill from Country Villa and a letter of apology for not responding to the many calls to discuss the issue of my father's bill with an explanation of why he couldn't be picked up until 4:30.

Review: Recently, [redacted], informed that on three occasions, front desk personnel signed for a [redacted] parcel for [redacted], room 307-1. The parcel contained [redacted]'s prepaid card that I requested for her. She never got it.

I have left many messages and faxes for [redacted], social services director, Jennifer, alternative social worker ( I question their credentials), activities department and the administrator. NO one has returned my calls; my logs have confirmed this.

I have also taken this to primary stockholder of this company which is [redacted], LLC in [redacted], CA. No response.

Since there has been theft there before by housekeeping, it is my hope that my mother's mail has not been "intercepted". The front desk personal who signed are : [redacted] and [redacted] according from the correspondence from [redacted]. This letter was faxed to [redacted] and administrator.

It is my hope that this will prompt the investigation that it merits.Desired Settlement: I wish the cards delivered to [redacted] and NO retaliation from staff especially social workers and house keeping. The care team would agree that [redacted] is an ideal and well-liked resident.
