Review: I recently ordered my wedding gown from Country Way Bridal in September 2014. When my gown came in, in March 2015, there seemed to be a lot of mistakes that I noticed. The owner [redacted] assured me they would take care of them in house and her seamstress was amazing. However, when I went for my first fitting, it seemed to look even worse. When I called the store to speak with the owner to ask if we could just order a brand new dress, I was told she would call me back in a half hour. After two and a half hours, I called back and was told the owner had left for the day. Beings that they were closed the next two days, I asked for the owner to call me personally because it was extremely important and I wanted to order a new dress. I was told she was at an engagement and couldn't call me. I told the employee I thought it was unprofessional that I was not given a call back and to let her owner know I was very upset with how this was handled. An hour later, I had a missed call and five minute voicemail from the owner saying she was extremely upset that I would talk to her employee the way I did and do this during a busy day since it was a trunk sale. She also said I ruined her family engagement and that if this was how I was going to act then we shouldn't do business together. I had already paid in full. I contacted the designer personally and thank goodness she made sure I had a new dress shipped out within three months. When I went in two weeks ago to try my new gown on, the owner ignored me the entire time even though I was the only customer in the store. She didn't come over to see if the gown came in the right way or to see if I was happy. I felt forced to have to get my alterations on my gown done elsewhere due to how uncomfortable and unprofessional the owner was to me through this whole process. She made it extremely stressful during a time I should have felt beautiful and happy.Desired Settlement: I feel like the owner of this store was completely unprofessional and due to the stress and amount of time I had to wait for a new gown was unfair. The customer service I was given was aweful and made me feel extremely uncomfortable each time I walked in their store. I feel as though I deserve a billing adjustment on the amount I paid for this dress due to all the issues I have had with this store.
