Country's Barbecue on Broad Reviews (2)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The manager is obviously the expert in this case and had he explained it this way to me and the owner of the paintball gun I would have just advised him to take it back to the store where he bought it from originally. The manager was rude and unreceptive and just wanted to shoo us away. As anybody would have done, my friend was extremely upset with that fact that he passed the paintball gun in Perfect condition to the staff and got it back broken and simply being told it broke and then being told by a manager it's not his problem over and over again. He can not say I provided false information as he did in the previous statement because this was a brand new item, it was in perfect condition when the staff received it and the staff returned it faulty. Finally, the manager DID NOT give this kind of explanation to me or the owner

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

The business has responded.  Please see below:As part of the admission to our paintball facility we include free refills of customer air tanks. These tanks are used to propel the paintballs. Our staff fill hundreds of these tanks on a regular basis and are properly trained in the procedures to...

due so. Our staff followed proper procedures in filling this CO2 tank. The CO2 tanks are filled through a process of chilling the tank so liquid CO2 can flow into it. The valve on the tank has a pin valve on it to hold the CO2 in. Inside this valve is a spring and a rubber gasket to hold the CO2 in. These parts are inside the valve and are not touched nor accessible to our staff. These parts fatigue and break as normal wear and tear of filling and using the tank on the paint gun. These valves are often broken straight out of the box when new, due to poor manufacturing. We sell our own CO2 tanks and have found this to be true on many occasions. This tank was filled by our staff, and did not hold the CO2 because one or both of these internal parts malfunctioned inside the tank. This customer indicated that we broke the tank by overfilling it. The CO2 tank has a burst disk on the valve in case of overfilling. The disk would pop open or "burst" if the tank was over pressurized to prevent an accident. This disk did not 'burst' when we filled the tank, indicating it was properly filled by our staff. Therefore the customers claim is untrue. When the tank was removed from the fill station the CO2 rushed out of the tip of the valve, which is the result of internal parts malfunctioning. The CO2 tank did not break from overfilling, it malfunctioned from the internal parts, mentioned above, failing. The customer also stated that this paint gun and CO2 tank were new. If this was indeed the case, and since the tank's internal parts malfunctioned when we filled it, in a new condition, this would be the responsibility of the manufacturer of the CO2 tank. I told this to the customer and explained it was not our company policy to re place CO2 tanks due to internal problems we have no control over. The tank should be returned to the place where it was purchased. The customer also states that I said the gun was broken and that they should return it. I said nothing about the gun being broken, only that the CO2 tank was broken and should be returned to the manufacturer. The paint gun was not an issue. I clearly explained our company policy to this customer and the cause of the malfunction to the CO2 tank, it was not done in a humiliating manner. I understand the customer's frustration, but it should be directed at the manufacturer of the CO2 tank not Liberty Paintball. I stand by our company policy.
