Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowCountryside never so kindly offered to help us out in the way they are stating. The used part they speak of was found on our part over the phone & after inspection of that used part, we found it to be unsatisfactory to the safety of the vehicle so we had to purchase new partsMr*** made it very clear on the phone that he would only pay 50% for a used part and would NOT pay for anything else. To find the best price on new parts we had to order from Texas & it took 2 1/to weeks to arrive to us. *** was able to do all the work himself on the vehicle so all we were asking for in reimbursement were parts & alignment costs.(roughly $685) When this message from business was 1st stated here by Countryside we had NOT heard from Mr*** so don't know what Countryside means by decided not to listen to the State Investigator and go on his own'. We have since then contacted Mr*** & he has found Countryside in violation, however Countryside states they will only pay halfWe never received paperwork from Countryside stating what work was done to the vehicle, we only received a copy from Sears which was an invoice that stated vehicle could not be aligned due to bent frameWhen *** tried to go to dealership to talk with Mr***, his assistant would not allow *** to speak with Mr*** or Mr*** all of a sudden had an important call he had to take.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]

*** ***

I would like to thank the staff at countyside auto for there friendly and honest Dealership. I recently purchased my 2012 Explorer from there business and was treated as though I knew them all my life. I wasn't pressured as I have been in the past at other Dealers. There dealership was extremely clean and had a very nice selection of vehicles. And I was only there for about an hour and I was out the door with my new vehicle. Very professional staff. Review: When purchasing car,Dealer([redacted]) told me car was in an accident which it slid off the road & into a ditch and pointed out parts that were replaced and stated only plastic damage was done.I was told new tires were placed on the car so Four months after purchasing the vehicle was surprised that the back tires were wearing severely.I took vehicle to the original service/company that did the alignment to be told & shown on paperwork that they had already informed Countryside Auto while doing the alignment of the vehicle that it could NOT be aligned because the frame was bent.It was noted on (alignment paperwork) which we have a copy of and that Countryside Auto received in the beginning of April 2014. I purchased the vehicle the end of April 2014. It turns out,the rear cross member was bent and I had to replace it & also replace 2 tires on vehicle and have the car realigned. I was able to do the parts replacement work myself so all I'm asking is for the parts, tires and alignment fee to be reimbursed at total cost.Desired Settlement: Full Refund in cash of the repairs & tires we had to replace to make car drivable

Review: I contacted this business in regards to getting a vehicle, as mine had just died on me and I have 3 kids. My boyfriend and I came to look at 2 vans, and we brought his car for a trade in. We were told by one of the owners, that she was not interested in his vehicle for a trade in because of minor issues. We left disappointed, but found a ford explorer and called back and she told us to come and look. We came back up, test drove it, was made aware of the 3 issues wrong with it. Was told there was an inspection done on it, was told "my guys looked at it and only found these 3 issues wrong with it". I explained to her that we were giving her what little money we had for this vehicle and that I need it for my 3 kids. We bought it as is, but was under the impression that a full inspection of the vehicle was done. About 2 weeks, less than 200 miles later, it won't shift into third. I called and spoke with the same lady as before, E. I was told she would talk to her guys and call me back. She told me that these cars, between years 2002-2005 have these problems, which of course she never shared when we were buying this vehicle. She told in her experience it could be the level buddy, which is an easy fix, about 100 dollars and a couple of hours. (It was around a 350 part and took my boyfriend 6 hours to do) She also told me that because I bought it as is, there was nothing she could do. She told me her guys just don't have time for this, and that this is why she sold it as is, to avoid this problem. She then informed me that she only marked in 100 over to pay off her guy, and that a minimal inspection was done on it. The body and the interior were not in good condition, but she didn't want it sitting on her lot over the winter. She told me several times that this is why she just wanted it gone, so someone couldn't come back to her and have an issue and expect her to fix it. I retold her that we gave her what little money we had and that I reminded her I needed a good car because of having 3 kids and needing to get them to school. She flat out told me "what do you want me to do". I remember when we were there, she told my boyfriend and I that she doesn't sell st cars. I said to her, what if we buy the part, would you pay for the labor, or would you take it back for a trade. Both of which she said no to, and what was she going to do with it for a trade. Then her guys would have to work on it and she couldn't make much of a profit from it. She was all to willing to take my money, but not willing to help afterwards or disclose the fact until after the purchase that she had only done a minimal inspection and that she just wanted it off her lot. I explained to her that from my research that this problem isn't one to just pop up over night. When I first informed her of the problem, she said that her guys were so backed up that couldn't get me in for a month, then she calls me back and tells me that her guys are too busy for this stuff and there was nothing she could do. It seems that she knew that this vehicle had a problem already, other than the 3 she disclosed to us, but just wanted to make a quick sale and get it off her lot.Desired Settlement: There are 3 potential outcomes, any of which I would be okay with. The first being that because a full inspection wasn't done, that they look at and repair the vehicle. This vehicle never should have been sold without a full, proper inspection being done. The second option would be a trade for a vehicle of equal or lesser value, with any money being returned if it is traded for a lesser value car. The 3rd option would be my money back, so I can go to a real car dealer who will perform a full inspection of their cars prior to selling them.
