I am rejecting this response because:
TJ says that I called him two months later to inform him of the truck smoking. I have saved emails that I sent to him personally on November 8th informing him that I was unhappy with the purchase and that the truck was running rough and white smoke was coming from the exhaust. I asked him then if there was anything that could be done about it. I never heard back from them. I am not happy with their customer service. I do not want their technician working on my truck because I live over an hour away. What if their tech does work on my truck and its not correct or something fails that their tech did? I'm not going to have to line up a trailer and a truck to get my truck taken back to their dealership. All expenses are on me, Countryside Auto is not willing to compromise at all. I'm going to have to take off work and line up someone else's truck and trailer to get it to Austin, MN. All I want is for them to cover some of the bill at a local dealership. That way if I have any further issues after work is done to it, I have some place local to go to. I'm not asking a lot. Having problems with the truck only a few days after buying it from them tells me that there were issues prior to purchasing it. They have a nice running Harley Davidson and I have a 8000lb lawn ornament. It doesn't seem fair and I'm not asking the world of Countryside Auto. All I'm asking them to do is pay for part of the bill to get the truck fixed at a local dealership. I want a certified mechanic that I know to work on my truck, not some shade tree Sam. I'm not willing to compromise on that at all. The only outcome I will except is that they pay for part of the bill at a local Ford Dealership

Received call from Mick [redacted] at Countryside Auto, providing business response to complaint.Mr [redacted] reiterated his earlier assertion that [redacted] did not provide him with or discuss pricing prior to beginning work on vehicles, and that he did not receive any sort of invoice for the...

work.He says he is familiar with industry standard pricing for PDR work in the local market, and that what [redacted] eventually indicated its pricing to be was far beyond what he has ever paid for comparable work.He acknowledges that he should've been more insistent on knowing [redacted] pricing / getting it in writing before work began, but remains firm in his offer to pay $609 for services rendered.

Not having received response to date, Revdex.com called dealer to get business response.TJ confirms that Mr [redacted] purchased his truck back in October with 100K+ miles on it -- the truck was purchased "as is," in accordance with MN Used Car Warranty Law.He says when Mr [redacted] called about 2 months...

later reporting that the truck was smoking, Countryside Auto offered to have the customer bring the truck in, where a diesel mechanic could look at it and potentially make any necessary repairs at a substantial savings from what Mr [redacted] would've gotten at a local dealership.TJ says Mr [redacted] was unable / unwilling to make the trip with his truck, and Countryside has not had interaction with him since.He adds that Countryside Auto is still willing to have its diesel mechanic look at the truck, but cannot offer to pay to have the truck transported at this time.
