I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I have contacted Countryside since my toilets, shower, and drains in the house weren't draining properly, which were all connected to the septic system. Yes, the toilet was replaced since Mr. [redacted] told me it was probably my toilet causing the problem. After replacing, the problem was not solved and another call was made to Countryside. Several days later I received a response and I was told to contact [redacted] Excavating to assess the situation since Countryside did not have the equipment to perform the work. [redacted] came out and looked at the property within 1 day and told me drainage was not my issue, it was a bad and improperly installed septic. He was kind enough to tell me " I will spare you spending $2800 on drains that will not alleviate my problem with my septic".  This company was RECOMMENDED by Countryside, yet refused to do the work since they said Countryside was trying to get out of fixing the problem. Since then, I have contact Mr. [redacted] several times and he kept telling me the same thing. I called [redacted] Excavating in Schenectady, NY to get a 2nd opinion. He also said the same exact thing. After letting Tom [redacted] know this, he offered to come re grade the backyard to help the drainage for $500, but has yet to come look at it and do it. He recently told me to dig a hole and he would come out and assess it, but was a no show stating he was away and didn't have time. 2 other septic companies have been out to dig up the septic and also stated it was improperly installed using an "old fashioned" method on top of never should of been installed in clay soil such as mine.  I had $14,000 at the closing of my house to spend on a new septic, so money was not the issue. But I was assured that an in ground system like the one the Countryside installed would work perfectly. What Countryside failed to look at was that the old system had an "underdrain" installed in it. A method which was legal at the time the old septic system was installed and checking with the county, would be "grandfathered" in and legal since it was not a new system. I want the full $4400 I paid for the failed system plus additional costs incurred to me. I have already started the process with small claims and hired an attorney. Based on 4 companies telling me about Countryside's work, I am doing this to also make others aware of there faulty workmanship.

In Response to a complaint that was submitted on 4/15/16 and was assigned an ID#11395254.[redacted] contacted Countryside Septic after he had already purchased and moved into his house at [redacted] in October of2015. By the time he reached out to us he already had his septic...

inspected by other companies prior to owning this home and obtained estimates from those companies. Due to his septic leach field failures, he called us for an estimate to repair/replace his septic leach field. When we met with him, we advised him that there were two options to fix his septic system.1. To install a gravity flow leach field in the existing soil. This is the same type of system asother houses in his neighborhood. His house which is over 25 years old and EVERY house near him, runs on the same system with leach fields in their original native soil.2. To install a raised sand transvap leach field. This option would require another concrete tank beyond your septic tank, which would be made into a pump station that would require electric. That pump station would then pump into a leach field installed into a raised sand bed. Besidesthe cost of the installation ($20,000 plus), I made him aware he would have to install a newblacktop driveway due to the heavy trucks and equipment needed to complete the job. Mr.[redacted] adamantly said, no way. After discussing both options with him in person, he agreed to option one, installing a new leachfield in the existing soil on his property, parallel to the original leach field that was installed atthe time the house was built. We then gave him an estimate of $4,400 to complete option one. Atthe time we gave him the estimate(October 18, 2015), his property was DRY and he did notdisclose any known water or drainage issues on his property. On November 5, 2015 we installed the new leach field for him. At the time of install, Mr.[redacted]'s property was STILL DRY with no evidence or visual sight of ground water or wet soil.I have included 2 pictures taken during the time of the installation. As you can see the soil andthe trenches were dry and free of water.Since the installation, Mr.[redacted] has called us numerous times, over 10 times in one day at onepoint.Issues and Problems that he has called Countryside Septic at different times all unrelated to ourworkmanship of the leach field we installed:-Old defective downstairs toilet not flushing properly-Upstairs kitchen sink not draining properly-Upstairs Bath tub not draining properly due to hair-Sewage coming out of his garden hose when used-Water in front of his house due to rain-Water in his downstairs living quarters We've been out to his house twice since completing our work to help with his problems, bothtimes at no charge to him.First time was approximately 2 weeks after the leach field installation due to his defective toilet, septic tank was uncovered and volume level was at its proper functional height. With thatinformation, Mr.[redacted] then replaced his toilet.Second time was regarding his water hose, in which he claimed sewage was coming out of it. Wecame over to inspect it and found that it was in fact not sewage, but an old garden hose thathadn't been used in a long time with built up sediment inside of it. At the same time of visit weadvised his mother-in-law that they need drainage work behind his house in reference tofreestanding water in his backyard( where his septic system is located) after heavy late December rain.Countryside Septic has informed Mr.[redacted] numerous times that we do not have the excavating equipment to complete his needed site drainage work; to grade his back yard and install drainage pipes to divert/redirect the rain water. Due to Mr.[redacted]'s need for drainage in his backyard, weadvised him to call a local company, Frueh Excavation. Mr.[redacted] refused to have the drainage work done.Instead of correcting his drainage issues on his property, on· April 13th Mr.[redacted] decided tohave another septic company to connect back up to the house's original, already failed when hepurchased the house, sewage leaking above the ground septic leach field. In which Mr.[redacted]claims that this old leaking leach field supposedly has an "underdrain" that he claims to be,"Illegal in Albany County since it dumps potentially toxic water onto existing land." -quoted byMr.[redacted].Who would connect back up to an already failed leach field that claims to be a potential health issue?Mr.[redacted] bought a house with many issues and problems, he is upset with his decision to buythis home. He is blaming these problems on the leach field we installed, but his problems are allunrelated to my work. Our work was done properly, with the proper materials at the quotedprice. All septic pipes installed in the ground by us were all installed using a level and a transit, leaving no error.I have been in business for 36 years and I have never had a problem with a customer such as this.We have an excellent reputation, many loyal customers, with our company spanning twogenerations.I cannot work for Mr.[redacted] in the future, because he is irrational, incoherent, and has harassedand threatened to bring a lawsuit against me at the times we spoke over the telephone
