The noise issue between *** and her neighbor has been ongoing since early FebruaryOur courtesy officer, a city of *** police officer, has made every effort to respond to the noise complaints, but has been unable to hear any noise that he would consider excessiveHeavy walking in an
apartment is not something that can be controlled and is considered a part of daily living; as the apartment management, we cannot dictate how people should live in their apartment homesWe can ask them to be courteous of their neighbors, but we cannot force them to walk or act differently. Unfortunately, noise can sometimes be a part of apartment livingWe have explained this to ***, and we have spoken with her upstairs neighbor regarding the noise on several occasionsPrior to these complaints, we have never received a noise complaint on her upstairs neighbor, so at this point, it is one resident's word against the other'sWe feel that we have exhausted every avenue in trying to find an amicable solution to this problem. We have given *** options to consider regarding her current apartment and lease at The PreserveWe certainly want *** to be comfortable, and more importantly, are concerned with any health issues she may be having in regards to the noise in her apartmentOnce *** has taken advantage of either option she has been given, we believe that this situation can be fully resolved

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  The management staff offered to move me to a smaller apartment on the third floor and the price is more than what I am paying now and what I can afford. Also they failed to mention to me the person I would be beside is even louder than the one I'm currently under. Also they NEVER informed me of the $300 transfer fee. They spoke to my mom who is the co-signer and told her of these things. Also I specifically asked them to not disturb her as she was on vacation and I would have her call them but as usual they disregarded my request and called her anyway. They have not been honest with us and after making this complaint they left a very abrasive letter ony door accusing me of having an unidentified male with me when I knocked on the door to the man above me to speak with him in hopes of resolving the issue without having to deal with the management. Also I recorded the knocking to cover myself because I figured I would be blamed for something untrue.  They are acting out of retaliation every time I make a complaint of the noise upstairs. Because he has been here 3 years and they've not had a complaint doesn't make my complaints false. They don't want to fix the issue as they say they are "harassing" him but they are harassing me with their letters on my door with some new complaint from them every time I inform them of the excessive noise. I'm tired of them questioning who my guests are (as they claim they have criminal records) but in fact they are officers of the law. The ridiculous things pouring from their letters are about everything but fixing the PRIMARY ISSUE AT HAND which is the clear disrespect of allowing this man above me to STOMP not walk at all hours of the night. This is beyond normal apartment living noise as people can hear him through the phone. I can't predict when their courtesy officer will get there in time to hear it when he's doing this just as when a car makes noise and you take it to the shop to let them hear it and it won't make the noise.....It doesn't mean he's not doing it. They are rude to me and their letters on my door have become unnecessary every since I have brought this issue to their attention.  It's clearly an issue of them trying to get me to leave at this point and not making the situation better. Very unprofessional on their part. More can and should be done other than telling me I can get out of my lease and move. Which costs over $1100 to move here. I'm more than disappointed in how they are choosing to resolve this issue...or in better words lack thereof.
Regards,
