Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: The statements from County Line towing are incorrectI was contacted by the Splendora PD in which they said no authorized tow of any vehicle was allowed, and due to the easement and where the vehicle was parked it was on public property"This is also being review by TDLR, No Decision has been made"No I was not on sight of the TOW, that is correct, nor was I notified of my vehicle being towed or I could have helped rectify the situation before it reached this point But yes I was informed by the group of people out front of the house about the situationIn which they stated, they had a friend tow the vehicle to make room for their family vehicles & Laughed about the money he was makingThe damage was not assessed at the time of the pidue to the amount of rainfall occurring at the time and mud caked on the vehicle after being driven out of your storage lotThis damage & Pictures were in account on the TDLR Claim you received last weekSo again the TDLR is now working on making a decision on this claim and we have been issued a representativeNo decision has been made as you stated it was in your last descriptive essay, and again this will be made at the Austin, Tx TDLR Hearing this monthSo your claims of being within TDLR limits is also in accurate & I will forward this on as evidence in my TDLR Claim as wellI'm not satisfied with your responsePlease be advised, I will continue to dispute this until Justice has been served, Thank you for your service Revdex.com, It will keep this from happening in the future, Sincerely, [redacted]

After reviewing the response of rejection with Revdex.com, our company stands with the previous decision to decline a refund. Our office has spoke with Splendora PD on numerous accounts in regards to this matter. The previous response in regards to speaking with Splendora PD, is true and correct. Our office has spoke with the Chief of Police with Splendora PD in regards to this matter. No written statement will be given to anyone in regards to this matter. Police will not engage in private property tows. As for any damage to the vehicle that was towed by our company, this is the first time we have been notified of any damage. Our office has not received any complaint about damages nor was any damages discussed when the spouse of the operator came to our office and picked up and inspected vehicle. We take these matters very seriously and would have submitted for a damage claim within our office. As for the "obvious overcharge", any Tow and Impound company is regulated by TDLR as to what we are aloud to charge for private property tows, impound fees, and storage fees. As stated in previous response, our company is within the TDLR regulated range of charges. The vehicle towed was operated by the wife of the person making this claim. He was not at the site when vehicle was towed nor was the wife. Comments about "making money off people being towed" between property owner and driver, are incorrect and false. The person making this claim nor his wife were witness to any such comments. The pictures taken at the time of the tow will be email today to email listed above.  The vehicle was simply parked on private property without consent. At this time our company will not issue any refund to the vehicle owner, for we were in legal rights to tow vehicle from location and charged rates regulated through TDLR. Thank You and Best RegardsCounty Line Towing

I am rejecting this response because: The statements from County Line towing are incorrect. I was contacted by the Splendora PD in which they said no authorized tow of any vehicle was allowed, and due to the easement and where the vehicle was parked it was on public property. "This is also being review by TDLR, No Decision has been made". No I was not on sight of the TOW, that is correct, nor was I notified of my vehicle being towed or I could have helped rectify the situation before it reached this point.  But yes I was informed by the group of people out front of the house about the situation. In which they stated, they had a friend tow the vehicle to make room for their family vehicles & Laughed about the money he was making. The damage was not assessed at the time of the pick-up due to the amount of rainfall occurring at the time and mud caked on the vehicle after being driven out of your storage lot. This damage & Pictures were in account on the TDLR Claim you received last week. So again the TDLR is now working on making a decision on this claim and we have been issued a representative. No decision has been made as you stated it was in your last descriptive essay, and again this will be made at the Austin, Tx TDLR Hearing this month. So your claims of being within TDLR limits is also in accurate & I will forward this on as evidence in my TDLR Claim as well. I'm not satisfied with your response. Please be advised, I will continue to dispute this until Justice has been served, Thank you for your service Revdex.com, It will keep this from happening in the future,
Sincerely,

On May 14, 2016 our office was contacted by a property owner stating that a vehicle was parked on their property. Every year the City of Splendora holds what is called Splendora Founders Day. This is held at the city hall and behind the Splendora Post Office. Local Business parking lots are rented...

out to individuals for parking to attend these festivities. Splendora Police Officers (not Montgomery County Sheriff's Department directed the flow of traffic on the main road. These police officers did not direct traffic down side roads to park. The location where our driver was dispatched out to was a private property located down a side road by the festivities. The property owner requested to have the vehicle removed. Property owner stated that the vehicle owner did not have permission to be parked there. The vehicle was parked on the side of the road in the property owner's yard. Pictures were taken as this is a policy for all drivers on call for a private property tow. The vehicle then was towed to our storage lot and the ticket was signed by the property owner for authorization. The spouse of the vehicle driver did reach out to our office and spoke with the owner, Mr. [redacted], numerous times. During these conversations it was explained to the spouse of the driver that there is a 6 ft easement for the city or county to do any road work or water work. It was also explained to the spouse that these easements are only for city or county official use and is not used for personal parking. The property owner had every right to have the vehicle removed. The spouse of the driver stated during these conversations that he did not understand why his wife parked there. Our office works diligently with the City of Splendora and Splendora Police department. We have been in contact with both offices regarding this issue. They confirmed the easement rules stated above and also stated that their offices did not direct any vehicles to that location for parking. We have apologized for any inconvenience to the vehicle owner, but we are unable to refund any amount. The amount of $293.30 are amounts regulated by TDLR and are within the TDLR limits. Best Regards, County Line Towing

I have also contacted Splendora Police Dept and Montgomery county sheriffs Dept and the response was not stated accurately by County Line Towing in their response. I would like to view the pictures that were taken by County Line Towing and have them reviewed by my legal team.  Please E-mail them to [redacted]. I have also filed a complaint with TDLR and awaiting a response. This has nothing to do with the obvious overcharge for the tow or the damage done to the fender of my vehicle. This is based on facts, that my vehicle was parked on Public property, instructed to be parked in that area by the police officer on duty. "Which they can confirm in a written statement"  After speaking with the owner of the House and the Tow truck driver, obviously there was a friendship between the two. They laughed together in the fact that they would be making money on people parking around this area. This does not sit well with me.  This is an awful display of professionalism by County Line Towing. I will take any action possible to ensure County Line Towing does not have this happen in the future, whether that is Continuing to file with Revdex.com, TDLR, and or legal action until I receive a refund and apology which I can display publicly on the Revdex.com website. Thank you for your prompt attention. [redacted]Complaint: 11451564
