Review: Asked for a refund after I purchased some items due to product being the wrong type for my vehicle and questions about the possible damage to the equipment. Spoke to the manager who told me their return policy does not cover electronics as stated in small print on the window. Returned the items with less than 24 hours of purchase, items were unused and in their original boxes with the receipt. [redacted] stated he would not except the return, because the item could have been used. Clearly it had never left the package and I stated as much. No mention of this policy occurred during said transaction for 2 emissions sensors. Nor was the policy stated on my receipt. I am asking for a full refund because I was not informed of the policy in small print on the storefront window. I will also be lodging a complaint with Napa corporate offices. As a Veteran it is hard enough coming back from a combat zone and making it in San Diego. Every penny I have counts and to ask for refund on a product that has never been used seems fair and honest and I would expect the honest treatment from [redacted] and Napa. As [redacted] stated the item could have been dropped, but as a Veteran and honest American citizen I honestly told him not only was it not used it never left the packaging or bag or the inside of my truck for less than 24 hours.Desired Settlement: To be treated fairly and honestly and to be explained return policies on certain items that are apparently different form other things the store sells. To have that unique policy on the receipt would have been even better not on the window in small print. Being treated as a sucker and being explained the stores return policy on certain items after I made the purchase, feels completely dishonest and untruthful.

I have reviewed the complaint and spoken with the "Manager in Training" about the incident. It is our policy not to accept returns on used merchandise, especially those with intricate parts and electrical components. However, in this case it is clear that Mr. [redacted] should have been given a full refund based on the circumstance regarding the return. Customer service is #1 and a break down in our system and lack of training led to this event. We will gladly take back the part in question with a full refund and an apology for the manner this was originally handled. Our company has been in this community for many years and could not be here still without the support of our patrons. I would hope Mr. [redacted] will accept our apology and allow us to return his part for him. We look forward to you allowing us to help you on your automotive parts needs in the future.

Review: On or about June 3rd, I called and spoke with a man and told him I need a part, he asked what part, I told him, he said he could have it in two hours and I said ok, he then went to say I need your credit card to buy it and I asked why, he said I am not going to buy this part for my store and need for you to purchase it right now, so I did. Approx 5:30 pm I went to store to pick up the part, and nobody could find the part or even my paper work. I talked to a man and woman, they looked around and found nothing. So I went home and the next day I called and spoke with the same man again and told him what happened and he said he needed for me to return to give credit to my card. I said NO! if you could take my payment on the phone then you can credit my account. He got upset and pretty much ended the call. So I pay for a part that was NOT delivered. I have NO paperwork or names. It was a three wire connector plug for a MAF SensorDesired Settlement: Please refund my credit card. ASAP

We are more than happy to credit the customer his money back. I was personally there when the customer called and asked for his refund. My employee apologized and offered to credit his card at that time and he said, "[redacted] you guys, I'll dispute it with my CC company" and hung up on my employee. The customer can either call with his card number or come down and give us his card number so he can be credited.
