Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 18, 2015/12/31) */ To address this complaint The contract worker is no longer doing services in my shopHowever I never had this discussion with Christopher nor would I I was not in the business that day, I was told he picked up with out incedent I didn't hear from him until that eveningI did offer to fix his dogs mmtselfIn route I was in an automobile accident that severly damaged myself and my carI explained thisHe asked for a fifty percent refund the check has been sitting at the shop since that week awaiting pick upI have had no further contact with him It shows to note that he not only paid her but tipped herI was honoring refund out of my own expense as the contract worker is not on my payroll We do not have a facebook page While I sympathize with these clients as they were repeat customers I have made every effort to rectify this situation Also, there is a four page release signed by this client where it clearly states if you are unhappy for any reason we need to be notified before you leave the salonin addition the client card filled out indicates the type of cut the customer is requesting We do not in anyway advertise that we only scissor cutIt's a very time consuming process with beautiful results, however not every customer wants this serviceMany in fact no exactly what blade they wan used length and style MrMcElroy included With his signed release my leaving a check for many weeks and his lack of Contact leads me to believe we have more than adequately tried to resolve this situation I note the address on this complaint and will refund the half he asked forIf needed I can show documentation that this was his request I see nothing further I can do Thank you

It is very unfortunate that Mr*** was dissatisfiedWith servicesHe was not charged for his $grooming bill
Mr*** signed a release at drop off that specifically talks about quicking of nailsThis happens when nails are
allowed to grow to long and or the animals moveThe release clearly states that customers understand this and take full responsibility for any and all care needed for thisI will be happy to send a copy of this release

There should not have even been a $bill for grooming because none of the grooming was completedThe dogs seemed as if they had had baths, although we are not sure that Miles ( Standard Poodle) have received any bath at allHis fur did not look as if it had been bathed and brushed at allThe only evidence of grooming on any of the dogs was the cutting of the nails
Regarding the quicking of the nails: we were told specifically by *** *** that she DID NOT clip nailsShe ground them onlyI asked this question several times on the phone with *** *** before I made the reservations
Then the nails were not quickedThey were cut significantly into the vein which caused profuse bleedingIn addition, at the time we picked up the dogs and told *** *** that were taking the dogs directly to the vet, she stated that she would pay for the vet billShe stated this more than once in the presence of my wife and I
Records and notes are available from Madison Pet Clinic in Webb City pertaining to the condition of the pets pawsThe condition required a prescription for pain
I am further concerned that *** *** seemed to be less than coherent in her actions, speech and response to our concerns about our dogsShe did not even act concerned that our dogs were bleeding on the floors only stating that on one of our dogs she wanted to cut the dogs hair differentlyAgain this would suggest that no grooming had been doneWhen the appointment was made, I asked *** *** how long she would need for the jobShe stated that the dogs should be done around 2:to 2:in the afternoonBut when calling here about ll:30, we told her we would be dropping by about noon to pay the bill, since I started work at 1PMShe then told us that would be fine and the dogs would be done when we got there
Our concern is always for the safety of our petsI am concerned that Austins Paw Spa did NOT in any way take care of our pets as was promised, did not groom they as promised, and even though she promised to have the dogs completed earlier than originally stated upon arriving to pick them up we found the grooming had NOT been done and the dogs had been injured as previously stated
