I am rejecting this response because: Hello ***, Thank you for your time todayHere is my response and attached document with the invoice stating pop open doors were orderedPlease let me know that this was filed, I appreciated your help I am disappointed with this responseThe pieces were delivered a little over two months agoIt was not unreasonable asking for help to fix the cracks in my tableThe owner told me to fix it myself, which I did not feel comfortable doing I was not aware of proper care techniquesIn previous emails it was never discussed on how to take care of the furnitureI was not advised to go on the website and read the FAQ were it stated cracking and warping can happen if it is not humid enough in your home In the previous response it stated that I did want door fixtures on the base doors which is not correctI ordered pop out base doorsThe sideboard delivered had fixtures, so it made sense that you would come out free of charge to put in the pop open doors that I ordered“Pop open base doors” are clearly stated on the invoice under Pottery style sideboard I am also truly saddened that I spent so much money on a product that broke and I was blamed for not following proper care techniques that I was not aware of

We here at County Table pride ourself in high quality craftsmanship by using old fashion techniques which have stood the test of timeWe also specialize in using reclaimed wood as a added benefit to have a story behind each piece we createThe complaint in question does not have anything to do with the quality of our products(which can be seen in the photo’s, of how & were the cracks originate from) More so the care and maintenance of the piece once it was in the owner careOn every invoice sent out to each customer before ordering and posted on our websiteWe clearly state: “Great consideration has gone into our table designs to reduce the affect of cupping, splintering , and warpingAll of which are considered an intrinsic risk of reclaimed wood productsAll Sales are final.” Additionally we have a FAQ page on the website, to help each client educate themselves with the responsibilities of owning reclaimed real wood furnitureIn this case the client had ordered pieces of furniture which was delivered in a timely mannerBoth the Table & Console Tables she “Loved.” Upon seeing the Custom Sideboard she stated she had not want to door fixturesI complied and said I would resolve and fix itWhen looking back at our detailed notes & diagram we had drawn up togetherThe fixture WERE on the diagramNever the less a few days later, I returned to her home free of charge and repaired the doors (I used wood filler, sanded the application, re-sanded, re-stained, & blended further with a Minwax wax pencil) Not a Crayon! Which her mother stated (whom was the only one at the residence) "Look Great! Thank you so much!" While there I also helped fix a wooden door jam issue that they have been having for monthsIt truly saddens me to see my products not being properly enjoyed as it should be, however I am a business and I can not be repairing items beyond my control or could have been prevented

As stated on invoice"Pop open" latches, which were not originally installedBut rectified when I returned to the residence and installed themWhich has nothing to do with fixturesWhich were on the original diagramWhich I removed and properly correct to consent of clients mother was on premises

In this case the client had ordered 3 pieces of furniture which was delivered in a timely manner. Hello [redacted], Thank you for your time today. Here is my response and attached document with the invoice stating pop open doors were ordered. Please let me know that this was filed, I appreciated your help.   I am disappointed with this response. The pieces were delivered a little over two months ago. It was not unreasonable asking for help to fix the cracks in my table. The owner told me to fix it myself, which I did not feel comfortable doing.   I was not aware of proper care techniques. In previous emails it was never discussed on how to take care of the furniture. I was not advised to go on the website and read the FAQ were it stated cracking and warping can happen if it is not humid enough in your home.   In the previous response it stated that I did want door fixtures on the base doors which is not correct. I ordered pop out base doors. The sideboard delivered had fixtures, so it made sense that you would come out free of charge to put in the pop open doors that I ordered. “Pop open base doors” are clearly stated on the invoice under Pottery style sideboard.   I am also truly saddened that I spent so much money on a product that broke and I was blamed for not following proper care techniques that I was not aware of.
