Today on 11/5/2014, *** *** was contacted by our *** *** to discuss the issues with the trash collection*** *** confirmed that the waste had been removed, and they discussed exactly where his property was so that we could inform his specific trash collectorDue to
this property being a new construction, there were map adjustments needed which have been completed and confirmed with the customerLater on in the day, I called *** *** to see if the issue had been resolvedAfter he confirmed, I offered him a credit for the specific weeks of missed trash pick up and customer service issuesCustomer thanked me and I advised him that if he had anymore problems in the future to contact me directly

I was a *** *** customer when that company was bought out by County Waste I never had any problem with ***, but decided to cancel my service with County Waste on 03/01/ The company was notified of my decision and I advised them by phone that their can would be left at the street for pickup After about four or five calls and two weeks, an employee came to pick up the can on 03/11/ On 03/13/I noticed that while the County Waste employee was picking up their can at the street, he had come onto my property, through the fence, into the back yard, and seized the can belonging to my new service provider When I called and advised customer service what had happened, I was eventually assured they would bring me a can on 03/14/ The can was never delivered The new service provider was eventually required to provide me with a second can

This is a horrible company to deal with! They miss collections, make promises It difficult to reach them by phone There is no manager you can speak with Customer service is apathetic They will leave you with uncollected garbage! Please, for your sake, choose any other waste collection company

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] County Waste has records of my call on 4/28/2015, in which I canceled my service with themThey failed to carry out their internal process for the cancellationI was not surprised at their lack of action to cancel given my experience with them in the prior months when they did not return my calls regarding poor serviceI followed their policy stated on their website for cancellationI have no obligation beyond thatI have the right to terminate my service at any given timeI am under no obligation to provide any documentation as to my actions regarding my waste removal and did not agree to provide them with this informationI did acknowledge their request with asked with an unbelievable laughI am not responsible for their inabilities as a company and will not pay for service after my cancellation dateHad County Waste been in any way concerned with their customers and the service they provide, they would have returned my calls regarding such in the prior monthsThey made no attempt to contact me until my bill went unpaid for several monthsOf course I wasn't going to pay a bill after I had canceled my serviceThe error is on their partThey erroneously billed me after my cancellation datePlain and simpleMy original request to resolve remains unchanged.

County Waste was my garbage collection company for some time, after having purchased Harris Disposal I had no issues with the actual garbage collection service I always used online bill pay to submit a quarterly payment 2-weeks ahead of time Some time between March and June, my account # was apparently changed My June payment to cover July-Sept service was received However, the payment was not returned for an invalid account #; the company kept the funds To avoid missed service, I went ahead and made a second, duplicate payment while working to receive reimbursement or credit for the original payment The company was less than helpful I had to open a transaction trace through my bank The payment was confirmed (already knew that), and I was told issue was resolved However, I never received reimbursement or credit The company still retained my original payment, no credit given to me I was asked to resubmit a bank trace on the transactionSince this did not work the first time, I saw no value in repeating the process The option left to me was filing a fraud report with the bank for the duplicate payment The BANK resolved the issue for me within a weekHow a company can switch account #s and not maintain a record of the original and new # and track payment makes no sense How a company can switch account #s and still accept money to the old account makes no sense The billing/accounting practice is flawed Frustrated for having to file the fraud claim and for spending months to resolve this, I switched to a different company

County Waste came into my housing development, under priced the current service provider by promising a lower price and quoted specific services that were all included in the monthly pricing After converting the accounts, every year the price was raised and the services cut I called customer service and said this was a case of "bait and switch" and the representative agreed saying the sales rep was wrong in his quote (this is after years using the same company) The rep said they couldn't afford to do the things that they "were" doing as a "courtesy" before yet that is how they sold the product / service to this neighborhood Now this company have run all the other providers out of the neighborhood and we are stuck with this company

The trash carts were removed from the property today at approximately 12:40pm, prior to this report being received.  The service was cancelled on the 15th via phone from the customer.  The conversation on the 7th regarding the yard waste bag being too large to remove did not end in a...

request for cancellation as the call was disconnected upon being transferred to the dispatch office.  Also, the service rate is the same for one or two trash carts, we do not charge extra for it.  As for the representatives becoming more rude with each call, I have detailed records of each call that have been reviewed.  I wish you the best with your new provider, if you have need of a trash service in the future please don't hesitate to ask we would be happy to help.  Have a great day!

Please accept our apologies.  We dont agree with "hard sell" tactics. This is a group of young  people that we have hired to solicit for us, and they are excited about what they have to offer. We will address the issue.

Can you tell me if the "buckets" had a sticker (name) of any kind on it?   If it did,  then it belongs to County Waste due to an acquisition.   If it was your personal can that you went out and purchased,  the "can man" was only doing what he was asked to do, which was to remove the can after a customer had cancelled, assuming it belonged to County Waste or simply not wanted. 
We are not trying to cheat, get over, or hood-wink anyone here.  If the can indeed belonged to You or your Mother then we will gladly replace it.

the following is my email to the management at County Waste in Richmond, Va:
Good morning,
I would like to discuss the matter of trash pick-up for my residence this week. I placed my container on the street Wednesday night the 22nd of October. Given the transfer of service from [redacted], I’m not entirely sure when on Thursday your truck comes and I want to give the full AM to PM chance for pickup. On Friday afternoon I made the first call to your Richmond office. There was a wait time, so I left a message regarding the still full containers at my address. I waited the weekend and called again on Monday to leave yet another message. Yesterday I spoke to a representative that assured me a note was given to the driver and my trash would be picked up yesterday, Tuesday the 28th. By 9:30 last night and again at 7am this morning, the trash still is waiting.
I was a Ducks disposal customer for ten years before the sale to your company. There was never an issue of non pickup. In fact, once I left sixteen 30 gallon trash bags of yard debris and they gladly took 5 each week on top of the regular 96 gallon container provided to me. Since the transfer about two or so months ago, your service has failed to pick up my trash twice. This is unacceptable. I’m contacting another service in the area. I have already paid for the next month of service, so I suppose there will be some overlapping of service. But, I will contact your office to make sure I discontinue our contract once the new service takes place.

Hello, I do apologize that your original delivery did not take place as you were told.  The work order was done correctly and was returned as completed by the driver.  I am not sure how the error happened, but I am sure it was a honest mistake.  A new delivery order was placed...

yesterday when you called and I have personally spoke to the driver so the delivery will take place today.  We did not want you to have to wait a week for collection which is why you were given the option to use a personal can for the first service.  If you did not want to do that we would have credited the service and began collection on the next week.  If there is anything else that I can assist with please let me know.

[redacted] called stated that the issue has been he stated that the money has been refunded by his credit card company. And the bin was picked up this morning. [redacted] stated that the issue has been resolved.
