To whom it may concern, On 9/23/we had a service call for [redacted] ***The system they had was very old and leaking freonI e-mailed Mrand Mrs [redacted] their options and they decided to upgrade/ replace their entire cooling system9/26/we went back out and installed the new systemWe finished later in the evening when the ***s expressed interest in a wifi statAfter discussing it, the ***s stated they would call when they had purchased oneWe recommended a Lyric or Nest stat which they declined due to priceInstead Mr [redacted] chose to purchase an [redacted] stat and asked if we would install itOn 9/29/we returned to install Mr***’s provided wifi statThe boiler having a separate volt became an issueOur tech called [redacted] tech support and they instructed him to put both commons together which can’t be done [redacted] support then advised the homeowners to return and exchange the stat for a different one and speculated it could be defectiveOur tech returned again on 10/6/to install the exchanged wifi stat and spoke to [redacted] tech support again, [redacted] stated both units would not work with their statCustomer declined installing a hard wired stat we offer, just for their boiler, and decided to purchase their own again11/17/we ran new wires for Mr***’s provided stat and put the boiler on it’s own statUpon leaving the air handler was operating on the [redacted] stat and the boiler was operating on the hard statWe billed $for the additional labor work and installing a low volt wire, not originally agreed uponMr [redacted] is still refusing to paySincerely, [redacted] ***

I am rejecting this response because: This company has not reached out to me to resolve this issueI still strongly believe the countywide tried to sell me a new furnace and AC unit that I did not need and had caused me to seek other bids for new units, May not have gotten other bids if I had only gotten an accurate diagnosisI called to have the AC servicedIt also sounds to me that this company is missed trusting on what they say about their customers by saying the tech talk to me personally and try to paint a picture of the customers that is not truthfulI had to call the receptionist to get answersI don't know who the technician talk to but it was not me My offer to Mr*** still stands on showing me where the cracked heat exchanger is but I don't think that he will except this offer because he will not be able to find itIf you're looking for an HVAC company beware of this one it seems that they are not customer orientedI would like for the Revdex.com to go to the next level with this company in resolving this issue.

Customer declined installing a hard wired stat we offer, just for their boiler, and decided to purchase their own again. 11/17/2016 we ran new wires for Mr. [redacted]’s provided stat and put the boiler on it’s own stat. Upon leaving the air handler was operating on the [redacted] stat and the boiler was operating on the hard stat. Id # [redacted]In responseOn 5/15/2017 A Technician was dispatched to Mr. [redacted] rental property.  Upon arrival technician asked tenant what problem they were having with the systems and asked to do a diagnosis of the system and tenant agreed.  After spending 30 minutes to diagnose...

condenser and furnace, the technician discovered flame disturbance in the furnace exchanger area and turned gas off to furnace and advised the tenant the repairs would outway the cost of replacement due to the age and condition of the equipment.  The tenant stated the Owner will need to make that decision, so the technician called the owner and went over everything wrong with the HVAC equipment and the owner began to get agitated toward the pricing we charge we charge for repair and replacement.  After giving a proposal and charging for a service call Mr. [redacted] refused to pay.Countywide Heating and Cooling has been in business for 15 years and instruct and train our technicians to be honest and truthful with any diagnostic performed of a customers hvac equipment.Thank you.
