Countywide was called out on 12/05/On a No Heat to ***'s HouseWe changed out a Pump, Charge was $265.00We were called out again days later on 12/07/With a No HeatCame out and changed out the Autofill/Backflow that had failedChargedwas $We discounted out 1/labor and charged for parts.***This is not uncommon to have several parts fail within a week or of each other they are all the same age***About weeks later we were called out on 12/19/For a leak on heat tubing in the Master bath, We cut the bad tubing out and fixed with a coupling.Charge was $hours labor plus parts.At that time we told the client That they have Kitec Tubing in their house needs to be all replaced it will continue tofail/fall apartSent a bid to replace all failed tubing at that timeAlso Told him the website to visit, they have an ongoinglawsuit for the tubing:Per manufacturer recommendations:Taken from their website:The only complete solution is to replace Kitec plumbing with copper pipesThis will typically require access behind walls and through floorsWe were called out again on 02/08/couple months laterto check out another leak on the Kitec tubing, told them it was $minlabor chargeThey agreed to it.at that time told them again the tubing is falling apart and will continue to do so until it is all replaced.Got a call month later from ***, Saying he had a problem with the bill, We both agreed to Half of it$65.00.Now he has called and said he doesn't want to pay itWe told him the next step was a lein, we don't threaten, we feel we were fair with him in the pricingWe were sending it out that day, when we got a payment on line.Just FYI: I suggest that you refrain from making untrue, unwarranted and unsubstantiated commentary regarding Countywide Plumbing's business knowledge and practices Libel/slander of a business is defamation per se under Colorado law and is actionable without a show of damages
