Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Only one person worked on the main electrical panel, and the fact that the business decided to dispatch a people crew should be a no issue for the clientArrival time for the crew was and departure time was - the paper that I signed when the crew left had to but I was specifically told by Scott that "this is only for Mike so we justify our day"Do I sense a practice of deceiving here and representation of time recording?Any time spent by business owner, either commuting or presenting me with options is not billable time - maybe in the future when job assessment is performed an in depth analysis should be performed?Material supplied for item was just an interlock which as per business owner "costs only $25"What other material is included in the $125?Thank you in advance Regards, [redacted]

Scott= $95.00/hr x = 237.50Material $25.00Total : $262.50 Will this satisfy your claim?

The Original scope of work consisted of line items As the homeowner mentioned, we have received payment for all items, with the exception of line item number (See Attached under Teodorescu) Once we began working on that line item, we noticed that the initial wiring of the
work performed previously by others was not correct So we stopped working on that and began on other things that needed to be complete I (mike Paxos ) was notified of the situation and immediately reported to the job to come up with an alternative plan I met with the homeowner to review our options and came up with a alternative game plan which was to correct the wiring and make the system safe Also, correct the switching method of the generator panel with an interlock mechanism at a minimum I had made some recommendations about possibly having the availability of the entire home being backed up by the generator which would eliminate the task of reworking the existing circuitry Trying to make the best out of the situation He asked me to get him a proposal on the whole house generator option Within hour I had it all put together and returned to the site to present it to him personally and via email I told the homeowner that I would take into consideration our time spent on this item and revise the invoice as best as I could Our policy at Paxos Electric is if we deviate from the original scope of work due to an unforeseen situation and causes a delay in our scheduled time on site, we deffer to a time and material billing rateMaking it fair to both the us and the clientWe repair what was wrong and they don't get taken advantage of Upon completion of correcting the wiring, installing the generator interlock mechanism, time spent meeting with the client and putting together different proposals, I was only able to discount $from the original cost of that specific line item After breaking it down to the homeowner and keeping the courtesy discount still intact He still didn't feel that it was enough I had two men on the clock for this job from am.(start at the shop loading and prepairing for this job) to 3pm (Finish time back at the shop) All billable to him($95/hr/foreman rate) ($35/hr/apprentice rate) ($130/hr x hrs = $1040) My material that I supplied cost me $ Leaving me with a total of $1165.00. I honored my $courtesy discount and revised the invoice as best as I could with a $deduction off of the original proposal I can not bill out for one guy for the resolution of the wiring, because two guys were on site plus the my time I spent resolving the situation
