I do see that you were billed for they Yearly membership in September for $because the year option was selected at the payment page.
Although it has been over months since that initial charge, since it sounds
like there may have been some confusion on your end when selecting the plan you wanted, as a one-time courtesy I have changed your Annual membership to the Monthly membership. A refund in the amount of $USD will be issued to your original payment method and I have also confirmed your membership has been cancelled so you will not be charged again in the future. Your financial institution will now be able to credit the amount stated, which can take up to 3-business days for them to processIf you do not receive the refund within business days, please let us know
If you sign up again for a Premier membership, you can avoid the automatic renewal by following the instructions here. Your account has now reverted to a free basic membership

On 9/25/I accesed the course hero website for help with a class however the information that they provided me was incorrectI canceled the account within minutes of setting it up but was still charged Attempted to contact the company however all I received was an automated message that office was closed and when I tried to leave message was told that inbox was full and could not accept any more messagesI filed dispute with my credit card company and was set documents that they say I accessed my account the day after it was canceled which I did not doI would not reccommend this business to anymore unless you want to flunk your classes

The user subscribed to a 6-month program ($89.70) on 10/19/14. The user had contacted our Support team on 10/23/14 after accessing our services. We have user logs (see below) that prove that this individual has accessed 7 documents and downloaded 3 documents after logging into the paid premier account. We clearly state the information on Course Hero is user generated and should not be used to supplement current study efforts within the defined limits of each student's respective university code of academic integrity.
Users can choose to use any of the study materials including our tutor Q&A content. The solutions provided by our tutors are given as a guide or reference and should not turned in as a user's own work.

The downloaded file would not open and the areas viewed were all wrong. How do you provide a service that does not work? Apparently, the tutors are not even verified to be knowledgeable in the area as the areas viewed were questions from other subscribers and complaints from other subscribers showing the lack of knowledge from the so called tutors.

CourseHero is a scam. They do not like that qualifier because it is bad publicity but this is simply the basis of their business model. Instead of helping students, CourseHero pretends that the documents you are looking for are available behind a paywall. Those document are never what you were looking for and since you already paid you have just been scammed.

In order to get the quizz or old exam(s) you paid for the privilege to view you NEED to view that document and that process in itself makes no claims for refund possible when most of the time the document unobfuscated is not at all what you were told was available. Think of it as if you were looking for the recipe for chocolate cake and once you paid you are shown the recipe for a drink cocktail...you then ask for a refund only to be told you downloaded the recipe for the cocktail when you viewed it online so you can not get a refund.

This business is clearly a scam praying on young students who are trying to look at old exams and quizzes to practice. It is shameful that companies like this would have these business practices. So far tree companies have the exact scam business model: CourseHero, [redacted]These companies pretend the document you want to read are available but you need to pay for the privilege and once you pay you realize those documents do not exist or are something else than what you needed. Good luck trying to get a refund.
When searching online for help in the google search add -www.coursehero.com this will filter out all the garbage fake results from coursehero
