I purchased a six-session training package, after the very first session I complained to the dog trainer about my dog not being allowed to participate with the other dogs because of the size difference (my dog is only 5lbs-the other dogs 25+) she agreed but told me I would have to contact customer service, I did the very next am, after several emails back and forth they only offered me credits which I could not use because my dog would age out of the problem I was seeing them for, they wrote me that if I did not take the offer that they would donate my money to a rescue organization. In other words, they would rather give my money away rather than refund an unhappy customer.

Refund I would like a full refund for my purchase. I only attended one session and it was a group session that I was unable to participate in because of my dog's size and her safety.

Our group class policy is that classes are nonrefundable, but we do offer credits if you are unhappy with the service. You agreed to this upon registration (had to click a box that you agreed with this policy - and it is not written in fine print, it is written very clearly and simply).
We didn't have your dog play with the other dogs because your dog was scared, not solely because of size difference, and still provided training the rest of the class.
When you spoke with customer service that you were unhappy, we offered you a FULL credit ($159) which is what you paid to use towards ANY of our services (not just puppy class since you were concerned about your dog aging out). We offer boarding, pet sitting, private training, group classes and so much more and we explained the credit can be used towards any of those services AND could also be transferred to any friend or family.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I was led to believe that any experienced trainer would have separated dogs by size. My dog is 5lbs the other dogs were 25+ pounds and it was the trainer there that told me not to put my dog in. So, Im not receiving any services Im sitting with my dog .When I complained and wrote an email that night I was told that there would never be a guarantee that other dogs my dogs size would attend. Therefore I cannot use their service and a credit would not suffice. If I had complained half way thru the classes that would be one thing but this was the first night. Also, if they are so willing to donate my money (see attached email response) which I did not agree to why would they not want to return the funds and retain a happy customer.
We do not have control over the public and what people with what size dogs sign up for group classes so of course we cannot guarantee there will be other like-size dogs in any class. I did give you days and times that smaller breed dogs are signed up for but you could not attend.
As we've said several times, the credit is good for ANY of our services - pet sitting in home, boarding, board & train, group classes that do not have off leash play with other dogs so size does not matter, and private training.
