To whom it may concern:I sold a 2004 Mazda 6 to the individual for $1800.00. It was a used car that had no warranty and was sold as is.  I have drove the car and my mechanic up town checked it over when I bought it.  He put 6 new coil packs on it.  He and I never found any other...

issues with the car.  The car had 207,000 miles on it so it was a high miles.  She asked at the time of  purchase if it was a good car.  I told her I believed it was but it was a used car with a lot of miles.  So I could not swear to it.  I buy them at auction and do not know there history.  Her and her husband test drove the car for a good while and came back and said it seemed to be a good car.  They then filled out all of the paperwork including the buyers guide which they signed.  I told them verbally also as I do all of my customer that it is sold as is with no warranty.  They called me a month later and told me it would not start.  I told them if they could get it to me that I would take to the mechanic to look at it for them.  They brought it to me and I took it to him.  About a week later they called and demanded there money back.  I told them that I sold them a used car as is and I was very sorry for there trouble and asked what was the issue with the car.  He told me there was a hole in piston.  I called the mechanic that looked at it and he said it was a broken timing chain.  I offered $200 to help them and he said he would talk to her about it.  Never heard from them again until I received this letter.  I am truly sorry for the troubles they have had.  Owner
