My opinion of this business went from off the charts to plummeting to the core of the earth in less than hrsAfter having chatted with Salesman Phil via text for nearly a two week period with one failed opportunity to meet, we again set up what I hope to be a productive overview of their used vehicle inventoryI was warmly and pleasantly greeted upon entering the businessPhil who happened to be busy referred me to one of his colleagues who kindly assisted me with the initial process of looking into my options I must admit my hesitation and lack of faith due to credit score issues and limited financial resources but I continued with the paperwork believing for the best Before too long I was introduced to the financial manager, Mr D [redacted] who took all of my info while bantering with lighthearted conversationDuring this time everything was pleasant while playing the waiting gameMrS [redacted] comes back with the unbelievable news that I had been approved for a *** Honda [redacted] ** from [redacted] bank with a % interest! I must back track by saying I was bringing to the table a *** Honda [redacted] ** with 81,miles and a balance pending which would in their terms be considered negative equity along with no down paymentAll of these factors made it nearly impossible that any financial institution would work with me on those termsIt just seemed to good to be true and in the end it really was! MrD [redacted] also told me that a $1,down payment was needed and was willing to give me a two week grace period to come up with the fundsAll paper work was signed, the keys for the new vehicle was given and everything was agoI take the vehicle home that same night being told to bring certain paperwork in the next dayI come in promptly the next morning with no expectations of anything happening but turning in the paperwork and leaveI get stopped at the door by MrS [redacted] asking about my check stubs which leads to him conferring with the financial manager that was on duty at the time He calls me in the office only to tell me that there was an error, never giving responsibility to who or where the error came fromLong story short unless I came up with more money or either had a co-signer I could no longer have possession of the vehicleThe most disheartening part is that they knew the night before what had taken place and failed to call meWhen I was told that these options were not via I was told I could get my old car backThe license plates were switched however no one tried to assist me with taking my stuff out and I had to make mention of a carwashThis was a humiliating experience to say the least that I wish on no oneIf the faux pas was based on human error take ownership Later on I was told that I could get a free oil change for my inconvenienceI’d rather pay than be humiliatedMaybe others have had good experiences there but I would never go back there again unless they gave me free vehicle

I am sure that this has been a frustrating experience for [redacted] We did everything that we could to give here options We never forced anything but offered that if she wanted the car she would either need to leave a deposit which was not available at the time or do a back up contract This was a cash transaction as the [redacted] had her own financing set up When [redacted] came in to take delivery of the car, she stated “this car is to nice” This doesn’t happen very often At that time and after a long time of her being on the phone and thinking about what she would do, she let us know that she didn’t feel comfortable buying it We let her know that we had quite a few other people interested since it was a with only 22k miles on it We cancelled the transaction for her with no pushback at all One of our other customers then purchased the car the same day That evening [redacted] texted Cole and asked if it was still available? We let her know that it was not and now we are getting complaints Very frustrating for [redacted] and for us Courtesy Acura treated [redacted] like we do all of our customers and do not discriminate At no point was there any forcing or a negotiation room? We do transparent simple pricing here and it was a cash deal so not sure why [redacted] stated that Courtesy Acura is sorry that the transaction did not work out and fully cancelled the transaction based on [redacted] ’s request We are very sorry that she does not feel like it was a good experience. With CourtesyJohn Mark O [redacted] General ManagerCourtesy Acura

I don't know how Rick Case has an A+ Rating I have been buying Honda's from Rick Case since Over the past years the service department has been deceitful They have used old parts and no parts to resolve issues An example, is supposedly they replaced batteries in my Honda Accord three times, but during my last visit with the same issue it was brought to my attention that I still had the battery the car came off the assembly line with
Most recently there was a recall on my Honda CRV in for the A/C Compressor, My A/C Compressor just went out on June 9th After reviewing my receipt, I just learned that the entire A/C Compressor was not replaced They only replaced the Compressor Clutch and Coils

I have no clue how this place has an A+ ratingI have had nothing but problems since purchasing a vehicle from this placeThe most recent being told I did not need an oil change even though I was due per the mileage stickerAnd at the same appointment I was told I had a very bad wheel bearing that needed replaced immediately for $Now having a few bad experiences(I was only there because I had a free oil change left from when I purchased) I had a little pause and did not proceed with the repairI took my vehicle to multiple repair shops to be told that no repair is needed to my wheel bearingsNow it is one thing to up charge people, that falls on the customer to research pricesBut to say something is broken that is not is another That is robberyHow many people are getting scammed on a daily basis from this place? I will never return and will never recommend anyone have anything to do with rick caseIf I could choose zero stars I would

[redacted]'s 2008 RDX came to us on the 9th of March 2015 with a customer concern that the car would not start at times and had no power.  We found the battery dead because of an electrical drain from the hands free link module.  [redacted] elected to have the module disconnected...

rather than replace it.  We charged the battery and disconnected the module as instructed.  The charge was $297.28 which was paid. On the 17th of March 2015, the car came back to us with the same no start problem and also the air conditioning system would not blow cold air.  We found the starting problem to be a bad starter and the a/c problem to be a bad compressor clutch and relay.  [redacted] gave us authorization to repair these items.  After we had already repaired the a/c [redacted] called us to say she had an extended warranty with a $1000 deductible and said the customer would have to mail the final invoice for the AC repair to be considered since we had already repaired it.  We wanted to assist [redacted] with the repairs under the circumstances so we paid her $100 deductible for the starter repair as a goodwill gesture.  [redacted] paid for the AC repair. Final bill was $991.10 to her. On the 20th of March 2015 AUL sent a letter of denial to [redacted] for the AC repairs because that isn't a covered item on her service agreement.  They did pay us for the starter repairs less the $100 deductible as agreed. Based on the above information and also taking into consideration [redacted]'s frustration, Courtesy Acura would be happy to reimburse her for the initial charge and repair of $297.28 since it had to be brought in with similar issues.  Courtesy Acura appreciates [redacted]'s business and letting us know that she is still concerned as to the resolution of her bill. [redacted]General ManagerCourtesy Acura303-795-7800

This was a cash transaction as the [redacted] had her own financing set up.  When [redacted] came in to take delivery of the car, she stated “this car is to nice”.  This doesn’t happen very often.  At that time and after a long time of her being on the phone and thinking about what she would do, she let us know that she didn’t feel comfortable buying it.  We let her know that we had quite a few other people interested since it was a 2011 with only 22k miles on it.  We cancelled the transaction for her with no pushback at all.   One of our other customers then purchased the car the same day.   That evening [redacted] texted Cole and asked if it was still available?  We let her know that it was not and now we are getting complaints.  Very frustrating for [redacted] and for us.  Courtesy Acura treated [redacted] like we do all of our customers and do not discriminate.   At no point was there any forcing or a negotiation room?  We do transparent simple pricing here and it was a cash deal so not sure why [redacted] stated that.  Courtesy Acura is sorry that the transaction did not work out and fully cancelled the transaction based on [redacted]’s request.  We are very sorry that she does not feel like it was a good experience. With CourtesyJohn Mark O[redacted]General ManagerCourtesy Acura

Complaint: 11140094
I am rejecting this response because:  The $740.00 that I am referring to is the price I was quoted for the starter and air conditioner, I'm reminded of that when I play back the phone calls on my cell phone that were taped, I have 4 calls from [redacted] and 7 calls from [redacted]. I was never quoted $1848.71  for the repairs or I would of turned them down.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

The $740 [redacted] is referring to is for the hands free link to be replaced.  She opted for us to disconnect which was $297, which is what we have offered to reimburse.  We quoted $1848.71 to replace the starter and A/C compressor repair.  We were able to get the warranty to cover the starter in the amount $534.54.  We covered the $100 deductible.  After the warranty we quoted $1183.71 and when Jessie came in we collected $991.10.  We charged less than quoted.  All of the amounts were approved by [redacted].  We would be happy to send a check for $297 since the initial repair did not fix the issue.

Ms [redacted] came into our store on Friday.  We have sent the vehicle to get tint corrected.  The title work has been fixed.  We are working diligently to correct the issues.  If she is not happy with the tint then we will be happy to reimburse her.  The paint is also being...

corrected. Please let us know if you are unhappy with the resolution.[redacted]
