Hello ***-Thanks for responding to my emailI was so confused when I received the email from *** *** *** had her vehicle towed to our shop for a diagnosis. We gave her a repair price on 10/5/@ 1:50pm in the amount of $That price included the following repairs:Fuel Pressure
Regulator Labor $Part:$Fuel Injector (6) Labor: $Parts: $Fuel Filter Labor $Part: $16.00Tax: $55.94When she was given the price of repairs, she requested that we try to locate the parts at the junk yard so that the balance due would not be so much and we advised her that we would do soWe requested for the customer to bring a deposit for the parts. On 10/12/*** came to our shop and left a $deposit. On 10/14/*** was called and advised her that our technician had not located any parts at the junk yard for that day and when I called the dealer to order the parts we were advised that the parts were special order and that it would be a delay in the repairs. On 10/15/and 10/16/2016, *** called the shop and was upset that the parts had not arrived yet to complete that repairs and requested a refund of the $she had paidI advised *** that I had to speak to *** regarding her refund. On 10/19/I called *** to let her know that she could come to the shop and pick up the $refund check that she requestedAt that time, she stated that she was unable to come and get the vehicle that day and she was advised that our technician would drop the vehicle off to her residence and gave an address of: *** *** ***I advised you that in order to receive the refund check, she would have to sign the letter stating that she received her deposit and that Courtesy Auto was no longer liable for the repairs. On 10/20/the vehicle was towed to her home and the keys (both sets) were left under the seat of her vehicle. On 10/21/she sent a friend of hers to pick up the $refund check and signed a letter that by accepting the $check, Courtesy Auto Services was no longer liable for the repairs that were going to be completed on your carOur technician did misplace her key and they were found the day the vehicle was towed to her homeHer vehicle was not vandalized during the time that it was at our shopIt was full of miscjunk and trash upon arrival to our shop so I am not sure what items of value could've been stolenThe email that was sent last week to us from ***, stating these issues, is the first that we have heard from her since her vehicle left the shopIf *** had stated any of these issues once the car was returned to her, would've certainly rectified the situation
