I was out of town in BrandonMy dodge ram developed "the death wobble" in the steeringI took it to these guys, waited minutes for help at the service desk & explained the problemI left the truckThree days later they called saying the needed to replace the entire steering assembly, everything at the mere cost of $5,Obviously the mechanic couldn't diagnose the cause of the problem so he thought he would play it safe & replace EVERYTHINGI drove the truck home the plus miles not exceeding mph ( very hard thing for me to do) and took the truck to my local, trusted mechanicsThe repair & fix cost me $$less These guys are real pro'sI think their motto is CYAMay be expensive to consumer but you don't really need to be a mechanic, just a fitterThey also wanted me to pay them for the diagnosisI refused as I had never agreed to pay that & it was never mentioned

To be honest, FL by far has been the worse experience with car buying(And I've bought vehicles from Toyota & Honda's to an Audi in Yes I go through cars.) Anyhow, this dealerships General Sales Manager was disrespectful to me and would not provide me the GM's nameHe even hung up on meAs for *** *** the GM, he did call me after that call and spoke with me and ended up providing a deal for meHe gave buying a car in FL the personal touch every dealership should do(Then he lost my faith, but that's later..) The deal we set, I came in, bought the Durango and leftNo overwhelming headaches while in the storeI called afterwards about getting a hitch installed (as I has appreciated ***'s call and deal and wanted to continue business with them)I was provided a price of $and some change with out taxesWas told this was due to labor costsI called other DODGE dealers and found that my assumption of price was more accurate with being quoted between $- 750.00, from dealers up and down the east coast of the US, including FL dealersWhen I sought to provide this feedback to "***"The dealerships Standards Coordinator, he said he would get with *** and find outHe called me the next day and provided some nonsense of their dealership doesn't have the same labor or pricing as others Okay, I won't do any work with your dealership anymore But it doesn't end there, *** O'Neill has the nerve to call me on my work number and ask for a call back (I was thinking, good news, there was a mistake in the price they quoted me - WRONG), *** had called to tell him how I am not welcome to do business at their dealership, how he would undo the sale if he could, yada, yada(The call was disconnected.) I do not need some guy calling me to tell me how to be a consumer when your over $more expensive that any other dealership on the EAST COAST to install a dealer part with dealer labor hours - Something is not right
I was asked to complete the Dodge survey, I did following "***"'s response on there was no mistake on costI was leaving it alone, I would not speak of their dealership again*** had to call me, and now I am making sure that more people are provided accurate feedback of my dealing with this dealership and their GM

I left the truck. Three days later they called saying the needed to replace the entire steering assembly, everything at the mere cost of $5,500. Obviously the mechanic couldn't diagnose the cause of the problem so he thought he would play it safe & replace EVERYTHING. I drove the truck home the 600 plus miles not exceeding 65 mph ( very hard thing for me to do) and took the truck to my local, trusted mechanics. The repair & fix cost me $1300. $4200 less.
These guys are real pro's. I think their motto is CYA. May be expensive to consumer but you don't really need to be a mechanic, just a fitter. They also wanted me to pay them for the diagnosis. I refused as I had never agreed to pay that & it was never mentioned
