Review: I financed a 2002 [redacted] September 1 2013 since then it has broken down every month with a major problem first it was the transmission then brake lines went after that the struts then alternator then the transmission again now it's been out of commission for a month. The dealership is giving me no help in resolving this problem all they did was try to get me to take out a new car loan for a new vehicle I cannot afford a new vehicle or continue to put this much money into this truck and pay a car payment for a vehicle that I can't even drive. Already Ive put more money into this vehicle than it's worth I cannot continue to pay for or put money into this lemon that they sold me. I feel like them took advantage of me because of my age and the point that this is my first vehicle. When I talked to them the first time that my transmission went they lied to me and said they told about that problem which I have a witness to prove was false. I know I only pay 175 a month for my truck but with the cost of all the work Ive put in every month, this truck is costing me at least 400 a month which I cannot afford.Desired Settlement: I only want the whats fair, my truck fixed right, the money back for all the repairs and carpayments, or a new vehicle at a equal price.

Review: bought a 2003 santa fee 2.4 l oct 24,2012 used, had nothing but problems. Took back 2 dealer 2 times for failure of performance in car. The second time they said had to replace cat converter, after replacement still the chk engine light still came on. Called dealer again they told me too bring back down and they would look at it but they would charge me 100.00 dollars too put it on the computer too see what the problem was. Any way I did not take it back to them took it to another shop it was the catcoverter below the manfold that went bad and blow the second catconverter out ,yes 2 catconverts on this car. I was not aware of all this work that was needed. I also had to replace the 2 Ignition packs because the car was misfiring. This car was not worth the bluebook value, I feel I got ripped off.Desired Settlement: I like too resolve this issue buy getting some money back for repairs that this car needed. I was not told when I bought this car it needed all this work, nothing but a problem since we had it.

Response:

the vehicle was brought in with a complaint of lack of power, complaint diagnosed and repaired. Notification was for a check engine light on not lack of power. When asked how vehicle was running customer said their where no symptons similar to previous visit just the light was on. This could be from any number of items. Had customer brought vehicle in for repair our service repair warranty would have covered anything associated with the previous repair, unfortunately it was not brought to us. I will not address other service station repair bills when customer elects not to bring us the vehicle so that I have a chance to diagnose complaint.
