Got an email for a free multi point inspection. Brought in a fresh nice good cared for car, and what I got back was a mess of dings and gouges on my wheels as well as a broken engine cover.

I am a person who does mostly my own maintenance, but a multi point inspection is another addition to verify if I neglected anything.

Service manager told me after contacting them about the issues, that if I did my own services, I should not bring it in and just do it all myself. And that they should stop doing multi point service checks.

This is about their Subaru repair shop. Caught them totally falsifying labor charges. They did a simple diagnostic as to why the keyless system was not working (needed a new key), and then programmed the new key code into the car's computer. Should have been a maximum of 20-30 minutes for both steps. (The reprogramming takes 2 minutes.) They tried to charge for 2 hours, 1 hour for each step. I complained, and they knocked off 1 hour while muttering, "Well, we'll give a $60 credit this time."

Review: I brought my vehicle (1997 Volvo 960) in to Coutesy Motors because the Check Engine and Coolant lights were on. I agreed to them performing a diagnostic which would cost me $365. When they called back they informed me that there were misfires in the engine, the ignition coil needed to be replaced and that my coolant reservoir needed to replaced. I agreed to the $749 dollar cost to repair my vehicle. On week later I go to pick up my car, it started fine, all lights on the dash were off. However, less than 2 miles after I drove off the lot, my check engine light came back on. I inform Courtesy Motors and they advise I bring it back in to be looked at. They called later that day and informed me that the headgasket was cracked and it would cost more than my car was worth to fix. After running a full diagnostic on a car, it would stand to reason that that would have been found in my initial visit. They explained to me that there was no way a full diagnostic would find that, even though it was fairly evident that the headgasket was the issue. They left me with no options and out all the money I had paid them to "repair" the vehicle.Desired Settlement: I want the cost of the diagnostic test refunded, as they did not fully perform said diagnostic. This would be the total of $365. Leaving out the cost of the Coolant reservoir, which was replaced in the vehicle.

They left me with no options and out all the money I had paid them to "repair" the vehicle. I was conacted by the 'manager' in response to this complaint and he told me he would refund the money, and about 2 minutes later I was followed up by Revdex.com about the claim and I stated that I was content with the refund. The refund was never issued by the manager and it has been almost a year. I was lied to about the car, as well as the refund.Refund the $365 that I was previuosly told I would be refunded.

I have never had such a negative experience with a company. The staff is beyond rude and they have a tendency to not follow up. I took my car in on a Monday to have it evaluated by the collision department, they said they would have the parts by Friday and that I should bring the car back the following Monday, so I did. Noe and his team had my car for over 2 weeks before I got any finals answers from them about where things were at or if the car was done. After finally picking up the car, I noticed that there were burn marks in the top coat on the new bumper and on my hood and fenders, which shouldn't have been touched. Additionally, a piece around my headlight was missing. I took the car back, they said they would fix it no problem. When I went to pick the car up the second time, there were new, even paint chips on both sides of my fenders. They have told me that it was not from them and that it was merely from everyday driving. However, there is no way this is the case as when I brought the car in that day I had gone over it with a fine tooth comb for just that very reason, at that point no paint was missing. I am beyond frustrated with this company and their staff; their Manager [redacted] was blatantly rude the first time I spoke with him and expressing my frustration. The receptionist [redacted] is rude and unhelpful, telling me that she wasn't even sure if my car was at their shop. Not to mention, TC in services tried to tell me that after inquiring about a broken strut that nothing was broken with it. After reevaluation by [redacted], the only helpful person there, they found that I did in fact have a bad strut. Overall, this has been a horrible experience and my car still isn't fixed correctly.
