Review: I moved from NJ to PA in July 2013 and had the title transferred to PA so I could get PA license plates. The title has been missing ever since. I paid off my vehicle in December 2013 and they have not sent me my title. They said it was mailed out to my old NJ address, why, they would send out the PA title to my old NJ address I don't know, then they said it was lost, and they would get me a duplicate, it has been 6 months and I still have not gotten a title. They said 3 months ago they ordered a duplicate, they lied, they never sent in the paperwork. They keep telling me it should be about two weeks, I have been hearing that for 6 months. I purchased a new car two months ago and I want to sell my car, but I can't because they won't get me a title.Desired Settlement: I want my vehicle title immediately.

Review: I initially filed a complaint against this company on April 11th. While a satisfactory resolution was reached, the company failed to uphold its end. Once the complaint was settled, I went to the office to obtain a copy of the paperwork for my sale since my originals were stolen from my car. They told me that they had recently taken ownership of the company and that all of the contracts were in boxes off site. They said they would look for the contract and get back to me. As of today, I still do not have a copy of my contract. To comply on my end, I made a payment of $900 on April 17th.to bring my payment status up to date. My next payment was due on April 25th. As I did not receive a copy of my contract as promised, I did not make a payment. I acknowledge that I am behind as I have not made another payment to this date since the contract has not been supplied. After the payment on April 17th, there were 17 payments of $200 left, to be paid bi-weekly, totaling $3400. On Friday, October 3rd, my wife called Courthouse Credit to reach out to them to attempt to settle and bring the account up to date. The total due that they told me does not match what my figures are. They told us that I owe $5263.00, not $3400 as it should be. When confronted about the discrepancy, they told me that they would get back to us. They currently have the car out for repossession, and don't seem willing to want to reach a settlement with us. When asked to put a stop on the repossession until we reach an agreement on the amount owed, their response was "pay what you owe us." Our question to them is "how can we pay you what we owe you, if you don't know what that total is, since you have not yet located the contract?" I have spoken to Bill, Sr. mostly and on one other occasion, Todd. Since they have taken over the business, there has been no professionalism, no communication, and no satisfactory answers to any questions I have asked. It seems to be nothing but mass confusion there. I have also looked up the blue book value of this vehicle. The value is now only $2444.Desired Settlement: Due to all of the aggravation I have gone through since April, I would like the title to the car now free and clear, and the account considered paid in full. Because of lack of professionalism on their part, and lack of trust on my part, my next step is court, if a satisfactory resolution is not reached immediately.

Review: I bought the car on January 3rd, 2013. The car was originally purchased by another individual. I was paying this individual $95 per week for approximately 8 months prior to this date. When the individual neglected to pay Courthouse Credit in November and December, 2012, and wanted me to turn the car in as it was out for repossession, I took over the contract and the car was transferred to my name. The contract was to be a 24 month contract. I have made all payments to date, but there are several issues at hand. First of all, I asked a friend to pick up my registration card for me. The person at the counter proceeded to tell the person the entire history of my contract, violating my privacy. On several occasions, I phoned the company to ask for a copy of my contract, payment status and length of remaining contract. I was given different answers each time I called and was not provided the copy of my contract. Finally, earlier this week, I went to the location in person to ask for a copy of my contract, purchase date, and how many payments are left on the contract. I was told of the purchase date of 1/3/13, that it was a 30 month contract (I believe that is it 24 months), and that the contract is packed away in a box and is not accessible. I was told by the manager that he needed to locate the contract and file, and go over it to determine the actual amount still due. I offered to check back with him in a week. He told me that he would have the information for me the next day and that he would call me with the results of his research. It is now 3 days later and I have heard nothing. I have not called again as he said he would call me.Desired Settlement: To receive a copy of my contract as requested, and to comply with the 24 month agreement with the payment amount of $400 per month, making the contract paid in full as of December 3rd, 2014.
