I recently moved out of Courthouse Green Townhomes at the end of Jan The company did a final walk though of the house and sent me a refund of the deposit minus the final charges I owedWhen they sent me the check and paperwork, they stated my deposit was $***I contact the office for proof that my lease in when I moved if it said I paid a security deposit of $ [redacted] or if it was a different amount After a couple of weeks playing phone tag with the leasing office and them telling me they were going to look into it, another time they said they thought they emailed me the informationI finally found my paperwork that had my first lease from and it stated my deposited I paid them was $***I sent them a copy of the paperwork they sent me that stated I only paid $ [redacted] as my deposit and my lease from showing my deposit I paid was $***The property manger said she was going to look into the information After a couple of days on 3/16/ she said they found the infor

Good Afternoon: Ms*** As per our conversation March 29, 2017, regarding the above case numberThis is a situation that happened back in 2008, where they charged a $*** security deposit and in this ladies case a risk fee of $***, due to her score card resultsThe lease
in was typed incorrectly and had $***as a depositIt was caught when the new lease was typed in 2009, which all parties signed the lease agreement for a security deposit of $***Going forward Ms*** signed more years and never brought this to anyone's attention until now after she moved outThe risk fee is non refundable and should not be returnedHowever, my company felt that it wasn't worth the cost for attorney or time, so they decided to give this fee back to Ms***. I have responded to every email that Ms*** has sent to Courthouse Green within a timely manner, have explained where I was at in the process. I am attaching the emails for your reviewIf I can provide you with anything else, please let me know. Thank you,Barbara C***Property Manager
