Review: About a month ago I got into a vehicular accident that resulted in a passenger door needing to be replaced. My insurance company sent me to Coury's Auto Body to have it replaced and fixed. They indicated it needed 10 days to be fixed, it took nearly 3 weeks to be picked up. The company called us that the 'starter' for the car needed to be replaced which would cost an additional $249 in order to move the car. This was ridiculous because the battery was brand new and damage to the car had nothing to do with the engine or front of the vehicle. It was purely cosmetic damage to replace the back passenger door. After being contacted to pick up the car, we arrived to find a scratch on a 'brand new door'. They painted this in a hurried manner then I could not pull out of the lot, it had a 'power steering light on' which meant I could not drive the car due to a power issue. Instead of addressing the issue because THEY had replaced the starter unnecessarily, the owner and the mechanics took one look and left instead of looking to fix the problem they created. This was because we had already paid and they ignored us and our inability to get out of the lot itself. It was unacceptable, disrespectful and completely crooked service. They should have offered us an apology and offer look into the problem since it was faulted from them. The terrible service and customer service resulted in myself bringing the car to the dealer to pay an ADDITIONAL $200 to pay for a broken fuse that was caused from the reparation of the 'starter' to the car. I would never recommend anyone to be subjugated to such terrible service and to have MORE damage than was previously there and then not offer to assist makes it almost criminal.Desired Settlement: I would like to have a refund of my 'starter' money and the money I had to pay separately to fix the broken fuse. An apology for the service or lack there of. The staff was rude, unhelpful and practically abandoned us after they received our money for repairs that were second-rate and just crook. I received no satisfaction in my experience, no assistance to fix the mistake they did and want them to acknowledge their faults. It was just something I will never forget and would even have grounds to sue for the service.
