I am in receipt of your letter dated 4/24/2014, which has been
forwarded to me for attention
I have reviewed the consumers concerns and find the following
Mr*** *** *** leased the apartment online on 3/and the
statement of rental policy is available for the prospect review. At the
time of leasing the apartment home, no pet was added to the lease
contract. On 4/Mr*** *** *** came into the office and spoke
with our associate informing her that they had purchase a boxer, but had not
received it yet The associate informed Mr* *** *** of the breed/weight
limit restriction and that we would not allow the boxer as it will be over the community
policy weight restriction. Mr*** *** *** left the office upset and
later called the office and cancelled the application because the Assistant CD
told him that he would not receive is security holding deposit back if they
cancelled. Each prospect that rents at the Bradford, pays an application
of $per person, an administration fee $and a Security holding
deposit which in this case was $200.00. All these fees are nonrefundable
to the prospect, should the prospect deem it necessary to cancel their
application.

The business of the dog being the reason we left is not correct it is the multiple lies and rudeness which we received from this company and the result of them not having our home available when promisedThis matter is not resolved and until it is with my deposit of $being returned I refuse to back downThey are very crooked and manipulative company they seem nice and cooperative and willing to help you but as soon as they have you their disposition completely changes and they show there true colorsThey keep trying to make this about the pet but in fact it is not about the pet it is in fact about the actual apartment and lies and them being extremely rude and pretty much causing me and my two young children for two weeks to live homelessI do thank you for all your time and really hope to have this matter resolved in the right and proper wayI hope to also prevent other future residents from being scammed by the Bradford Apartments.***

Thank you for your response and I certainly apologize for your frustrations
We are governed by very strict rules and regulations and we are required to treat every resident/applicant on an equal basis We are unable to refund the $security holding deposit as the lease contract was cancelled
