Cousin’s Supermarket Reviews (%countItem)

I patron this store due to it being close to my home they are raising prices on necessities due to the corona virus I paid $19 for 4 cases of waters and they have a sign that clearly stated they are o be 4 for $10 when I asked the cashier why she didn’t not really want to answer me and then came up with the excuse that I had 8 cases of water so I then asked her well when did this start happening because I’ve done this before here and never had this problem nor is it a sign that stated the price is limited to a certain amount of water

As I explained earlier in our phone conversation the water was priced 4 cases for 10.00. Which was is a great price. I have it advertised in my paper and even with the high demand of shoppers because of the Corona virus I kept my prices the same. We had to limit the water because of the high demand. The limit was set for 4 cases at the sale price of 4/10.00. Signs were posted telling people there was a limit. After the purchase of 4 the price went 3.99 a case. It was more important to limit the water so everyone can get at least 4 cases of water. We have never put a limit on water in the past but with the demand and the fact that all the major stores had no water people were coming to our store.
As per the complaint I see that Mrs. purchased 8 cases of water. She would have paid 10.00 for the first 4 cases and would have paid 16.00 dollars for the next 4. For a total of 26.00 for 8 cases. Please have her provide a receipt. I believe if you are going to make a complaint about a store back it up with a receipt of purchase showing the transaction and what she claims we charged her.
I have provided reports from my point of sales and also random receipts of different times showing the purchase of the water to other customers showing the 4/10.00. The report shows the average price per day. Which on the day in question shows a 2.73 per case. The reason for that would be a blended sale of 2.50 vs people who paid the extra money to buy more that the limit. Let me know if there is anything else needed from me. Please have her provide a receipt or the numbers of the receipt I can put it up that way.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:

I was not told in any conversation of this because I never talked to anyone from the store. If what he is saying is true why did I pay $29 and some change. The issue is when I asked about the price no one had an answer and the signs above the water do not say that is the price for the first 4 cases only. I will look for my receipt again because I do believe I provided a picture of it with my complaint but I will most likely not patron this company in the future because it seems as if whomever responded is not being honest about the situation. That few dollar difference may not mean anything to them as a company but for the people out here actually working to survive that’s a major difference in price. And if that’s the case did they add extra taxes to the water then?

Regards
