Review: My car was in an accident 10 days ago. The police at the scene called a tow truck company, Cove recovery (AKA Just recovery) to take the car away. Our insurance company ([redacted]) came the next day to assess the damage and since then we have been trying to transport our car from the COVE recovery tow lot to our body shop and the Cove Recovery company is holding our car hostage. They have left our car in a semi open lot with the doors unlocked and windows broken. [redacted] assessed a certain level of damage and now more additional damage is being done by rain and vandals.

[redacted], the body shop and my family have tried numerous times daily to schedule a pick up and the scammers are closed or leaving soon or not available for pick ups. They even lied to our body shop that [redacted] told them not to release the car so a pick up was not allowed.

My parents have been without a car for 10 days with no sign of the repair process being started.

Every day the scammers are charging us hundreds of dollars to store a car they won't let us pay and pick up! On thursday our tow truck went with the current fee of $1200, in cash- they will only accept cash, they wouldn't release the car. Then the scammers told us that they were closed until MONDAY!!Desired Settlement: I want them to repair any additional damage they have caused to my car and give me my car back! I will pay for 2 days of storage max because I have been trying since day2 to get my car off the lot.

Review: I had a car accident on June [redacted] 2015 on [redacted] Justin, the owner of Cove Towing came to the accident site and offered to fix my car. I did not have any knowledge of him or his company. Since I was in the middle of [redacted] and I wanted to get my car towed somewhere quickly I took his offer. It's been over 3 months since the accident and I still have not gotten my car. Whenever I call his office, Justin either does not pick up or he will tell me to call back later. He tells me several times he will call me, but he has not called me once. When I do get to talk to him he gives me a new reason why my car is delayed. First it was because he had to order parts that were on back order. I took this as a valid reason. When he got the parts in, he told me it would be about another week. A week later, late August, he told me that the car would not start. He told me it had something to do with the fuse box. He told me he had to send the car to a Kia dealer to get fixed. When I asked him, what Kia dealer he sent it to, he told me he did not know. The car was delayed another 3 weeks so it could get fixed. He told me the car was finished, but just would not start. He finally got the car back but told me that there were still pieces that had to be put on including the bumper. I asked him how long and he told me there was another car ahead of my that was being delayed being repaired. Justin told me a month ago that the car was finished and now it is still in pieces. He keeps changing his stories. I don't know what he is doing with my car at this point. I have to keep getting rentals which is costing me a fortune. I am very upset at this and frustrated and I do not trust his word.Desired Settlement: I would like my car back. He has had ample time to complete the job.
