refuse to fax over the information requested because it was a clear HIPAA violationWe did explain multiple times that she was more than able to stop in to our clinic and pick up a copy or we could mail a copy to her home addressThe patient was her husband and she was wanting us to fax documents regarding his care to a work fax machineThat is not something we are willing to do due to privacy laws.
