Coventry Management

My mother lived at Hawthorne of Aurora and her experience was extremely disappointing. Maintenance requests were slow to be addressed, and the appliances in her unit were outdated and unreliable. Rent increases felt excessive given the lack of improvements or upgrades to the property. When she died, management withheld her $112 security deposit over what they called “cleaning fees,” which appeared arbitrary and not in line with the condition she left the apartment. This kind of practice feels unfair and unprofessional, especially toward long-term residents. I would not recommend this community to anyone looking for fair treatment, responsive service, and value for the high rent they charge. The staff at Coventry Management is rude and a nightmare to communicate with, especially Joe.
