I purchase a Warrenty for my head phones on 3//20. I was told that there was a 31 day waiting period before you file a claim. My headphones where stepped on on 4//2020, so I called them to file a claim. My claim was filed and I was told to look for another email for directions. I got an email later that day and it read that due to Covid 19 most repair centers are closed and they will not be about to process my claim, try back in about a month or so. It also gave options to cancel the policy and/or see about other options. The next day I called and cancel the plan, I was told that I will get the first payment and the second payment back. The manager called me today and said that my headphones was damage before my policy started. He also said that the policy didn’t start until the 31st day. My claim was filed after 31 days when I made the first payment. He was very rude and kept implying that the claim was filed before the 31st day. When I call to file the claim the rep on the phone stated that she could not do a claim if it was before the waiting period. She also confirmed that I was eligible to file a claim. The company also closed my claim the same day I made it and said it was due to the Covid 19. The manger claim he only would refund the last payment taken out but not the first one.
