Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I believe that the photos I submitted prove my point that the workmanship was substandard At first glance, the porch looked okay but upon closer examination and inspection by another contractor, the many flaws I highlighted in the photos I sent were obvious Also, this contractor did not obtain a permit from the city which I now know was required and I could be cited it it comes to light I rely on professionals to do the right thing and do their best work - I was not given a breakdown of labor vs materials and the subsequent contractor told me the vinyl railing Coverall Painting purchased was the cheapest available and not built to fit my deck The gaps in the siding with the tin patches and the jagged trim at the front and the corners were the worst features of the finished deck - I would have been embarrassed to have people see it If you would like me to resend the photos, I will be glad to do so Ron has not made any offer to resolve the complaint and I don't expect he will but his description of his work was certainly not accurate in my case.

heard from this customer was that the "porch Looked great". I also quoted several other projects for her after the job was done. This is why I was shocked to see the complaint filed. In regard to the doors, these were bare wood doors, which were quoted as a light sand two coats of primer one coat semi gloss. After this was done they were still a little streaky. I put on an additional coat. She still didn't like the look and we put on another coat after that for a total of 5 coats. She was shown each door upon completion. We didn't charge any extra for additional coats. The porch was composite deck boards applied over existing plywood porch, with removal of porch rails and installation of vinyl porch railing. The composite decking was all cut to the same length and run perpindicular to the existing aluminum siding. Much of the aluminum, where it met the porch floor was pushed in, which made it impossible to abut the deck boards to the siding without it being noticable. The seam was then all caulked with cedar colored caulk. I have multiple pictures of this job before and after. I also thought it looked great. Sincerely, Ronald J K[redacted] Owner Coverall Painting & Remodeling 216-323-5625
