Covington park has the worst customer services everthe staff here are not personable, always look tired and sometime don't eve acknowledge you walk into the office unless the manager in on site then it greatThey look as if they don't even want to work hereeverything that they say is questionable, most of the time the only one who can gives you a real answer or tries find out if she doesn't know is the managerthe maintenance here is the worst they either don't speak English (which is fine if you can fix something, I would try to communicate) or just look at what your asking for them to service and just say that its ok on a sheet of paperi cant wait to move from hereif I could I would leave right nowand if I find a way out of my lease I will do so

Well they said they would call us back, they would take a look and waive the fee, low and behold they have not contacted us again except now we receive another notice on the door we owe the late feeWe are trying to find another place, and they are trying to pull this bologna saying we are late on our rent the month we are to move outSo we need a reference of rental, and now they are going to say we have been late on our rentI find it quite intriguing that we have never had an issue with our rent paying our bills etcand then all of the sudden the apartments start pulling these kinds of games now that we have given our days notice to moveIt feels like retaliation to meNot to mention when we sent in our report to the Revdex.com the manager *** called and scolded me as if I were her child and that I had just told my teacher that My mommy spanks me Also we had checked with one of the apartment assistant manager *** before we had purchased our 2nd vehicle our *** pick up to make sure we were able to park it with our other vehicle since there is limited parking hereWe spoke with them to make sure we would not be towed or that the truck would be vandalized or stolen due to having to park it out front since we did not have a garage to park it*** tells my husband to take our parking pass out of the car , to park the truck in the spot next to the car since the spot has been empty since we moved in back in April of 2014, to place the parking pass in the *** so it would not be towedAgain never anything said by management nor maintenance till we give our days notice to vacate the apartment, then someone comes up and says our truck is parked in their spot, so then we go speak to *** who denies ever saying we could park the truck there in the first place she simply says read your lease then walks awayWe made our decision to purchase the 2nd vehicle based upon what *** had stated that we would be able to park the truck next to the carWe would not have purchased another vehicle prior to moving without the approval from management that we had another parking spot due to the damage that has been done to my car since living here and the lack of space in between parking just not something we would have doneWe are not in the habit of buying a brand new vehicle just to have destroyed by others since they do not care about others belongingsWe moved in these apartments new to Arizona and didn't have to pay a deposit or even a fee of any sort since we have excellent rental history and not too bad of credit, well now it would appear the apartments are going to make it difficult to find another place since they are now trying to state we have been late on our rent for the 1st time in yrs ever late on our rent anywhere seems a little fishy not to say retaliatory that this is all coming to a head right before we are due to vacate the apartmentMy main worry is that they are going say something is wrong with the apartment and try to get money out of us that is not due themWhich I might add they are already starting to create unjustifiable issues by saying we we were late on our February rent simply "not true" I have my receipt of our rent money order purchased on the 3rd as with every other month, I'm sure the apartments will have a paper trail of our rent being paid every 3rd of each month We have witnesses that reside in the complex as well that will confirm every issue in this statement that I have stated is true At this time we truly need guidance with how we should proceed to handle these issues with the apartments simply to ensure that the apartment management cannot or will not be able tarnish our good name or reputation with the accusations of late rent and retaliatory financial burden since they have already begun to do soManagement is already trying to tarnish our financial reputation with the non sense of our late rent issues, threats of towing our vehicle for the expired tabs that had been expired for months, not to mention calling my husband foul names stating he is prejudice when he brings the attention to management when the heater is not repaired, which could have caused my husband bodily harm if the wrong person had heard the management saying this we could have been retaliated upon by others in the apartment complex based on what management saysWe have never been in an area where you are treated so poorly when your a good tenant that pays rent on time then asking for assistance with fixing an appliance or heater in apartment for which they are responsible for maintaining the functionality of the appliance or heater this is what you pay rent forThis is there only reason for being here is to represent the apartments and help the tenants in situations of maintaining their place of residence Any guidance would be very appreciated since we are to move on March What could we do to prevent in the situation of them possibly stating something is wrong with the apartment after we have moved out.

I was most troubled to receive your letter dated May 28, 2014 regarding our residents in apartment #2204, [redacted] & [redacted]. After reviewing the complaint I immediately contacted Mrs. [redacted] to discuss the issue and apologize for any misunderstanding from my team that made her...

feel it necessary to contact the Revdex.com. After Mrs. [redacted] thoroughly explained the challenges they were having I immediately sent my maintenance team to their apartment to address her concerns. At Covington Park our aim is to consistently deliver professional and courteous service to all of our customers and on this occasion the level of service fell short of our expectation. To prevent any further misunderstandings I provided Mrs. [redacted] my direct contact information. I advised her that I understood how frustrating even the most minor ongoing noises can be and that we were committed to providing excellent customer service to our residents. I then advised her that if at any time she felt our team was not meeting her expectations to immediately contact me so that we could rectify the situation.I am pleased to report that the [redacted]'s concerns have been addressed to their satisfaction. Thank you for bringing this matter to my attention an allowing us the opportunity to improve our services to our customers.

Covington park apartments and [redacted] management are composed with the most unprofessional and ignorant group of individuals that I have ever came across. I am a single woman, with a steady income. I needed a affordable apartment in this area for short term. I signed my lease September 2014. Within the lease, it stated that I had 60 days to give my move out notice, but at least 30 days verbatim. I received a letter on my door in May stating that I had until July 24th to give notice or my rent will go to the month to month date. And that a representative will be contacting me to schedule an appointment to discuss my options. I never received such a call. Today I went into the office to give my notice. I was dealing with an "assistant manager" who told me that there was no such letter in the system and that it was too late to give notice so I have to chalk up $1700 to move out at the end of my lease. I kept that letter and showed the "assistant manager" the document and she said she's never seen that before. And she kept saying, well it was clearly stated in your lease. In her condescending tone asking me if I kept a copy of my lease, of course I did. We went back and forth and I had to talk to one of the community managers. She was insisting that they should have called me and scheduled the appointment. I was asking yes or no answers, she would not give me a straight answer. She kept repeating what I was saying and that we will agree to disagree and that I will have to pay a break of lease ($2400) because I didn't make notice. That was never stated in my lease. Then she called her "boss" who was the most rude of all saying that I was even "lucky" to get a letter, and that I should have been more organized that this wouldn't have happened. So I'm being punished and ridiculed by a company that sends out "fake" notices. She told me that they just took another tenant to small claims court for the same situation as me. She made it clear that they won, basically saying don't even try to take us to court because you'd lose. I asked for the court and judges name, never responded. Just so they can squeeze more money out of me. This company has the most horrible customer service that I have ever came across. I have never been treated like such a child before. I am a great tenant and has always paid my rent on time. I am disgusted. How can they even stay in business?

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. This is an email about the same apartment complex. Covington Park apartments. My husband and I are getting ready to vacate the premises on March 19 2015. when our lease is up. My issue is this, we have had issues with the apartment manager being retaliatory since our complaint with the Revdex.com. We attempted to have our Heater in the apartment fixed and the maintenance guy came and stared at the thermostat for about 10 minutes then says its fixed did not do a thing to it. Well needless to say my husband saw the maintenance man the next morning and went to let him know the heater still not working the maintenance guy tells my husband to shut up is very rude to him and there are witnesses to support this.  My husband then goes to the office to speak with [redacted] the manager who then says my husband is prejudice man calls him everything but a white man, and to leave the office. Well to this date which I might add too late now winter is gone they still have yet to fix the heater. My husband is disabled has titanium parts in his feet which enable him to get him around. Now we are moving and not the week after we gave our written notice to vacate  the apartments have our car tagged to be towed from our own parking spot. I find it a god scent actually since we are from [redacted] state we had forgot to renew our tabs on our vehicle since we are so used to the renewal coming in the mail we let it slip our mind. My issue isnt that they had the car almost towed it is that the tabs had been expired since September 2014. and the apartments decide to sticker our vehicle the week after we give our 60 days notice to vacate the apartment.  Then we pay our rent on the 3rd of every single month never miss a beat.  The beginning of the month of February like clock work we drop off our money order on the 3rd in the drop box as usual. The 10th or 12th we get a notice on our door it comes to their attention you have a late fee on your rent.  How is this possible? we call them say they made a mistake they say no we owe them $48.00 for our late rent. Well now I am a little offended, we have our money order that state the 3rd, and they want an additional $48.00 now for what? Well they said they would call us back, they would take a look and waive the fee, low and behold they have not contacted us again except now we receive another notice on the door we owe the late fee. We are trying to find another place, and they are trying to pull this bologna saying we are late on our rent the month we are to move out. So we need a reference of rental,  and now they are going to say we have been late on our rent. I find it quite intriguing that we have never had an issue with our rent paying our bills etc. and then all of the sudden the apartments start pulling these kinds of games now that we have given our 60 days notice to move. It feels like retaliation to me. Not to mention when we sent in our report to the Revdex.com the manager [redacted]  called and scolded me as if I were her  child and that I had just told my teacher that My mommy spanks me.  Also we had checked with one of the apartment assistant manager [redacted] before we had purchased our 2nd vehicle our [redacted] pick up to make sure we were able to park it with our other vehicle since there is limited parking here. We spoke with them to make sure we would not be towed or that the truck would be vandalized or stolen due to having to park it out front since we did not have a garage to park it. [redacted] tells my husband to take our parking pass out of the car , to park the truck in the spot next to the car since the spot has been empty since we moved in back in April of 2014,  to place the parking pass in the [redacted] so it would not be towed. Again never anything said by management nor maintenance till we give our 60 days notice to vacate the apartment, then someone comes up and says our truck is parked in  their spot, so  then we go speak to [redacted] who denies ever saying we could park the truck there in the first place she simply says read your lease then walks away. We made our decision to purchase the 2nd vehicle based upon what [redacted] had stated that we would be able to park the truck next to the car. We would not have purchased another vehicle prior to moving without the approval from management that we had another parking spot due to the damage that has been done to my car since living here and the lack of space in between parking just not something we would have done. We are not in the habit of buying a brand new vehicle just to have destroyed by others since they do not care about others belongings. We moved in these apartments new to Arizona and didn't have to pay a deposit or even a fee of any sort  since we have excellent rental history and not too bad of credit, well now it would appear the apartments are going to make it difficult to find another place since they are now trying to state we have been late on our rent for the 1st time in 10 yrs ever late on our rent anywhere seems a little fishy not to say retaliatory that this is all coming to a head right before we are due to vacate the apartment. My main worry is that they are going say something is wrong with the apartment and try to get money out of us that is not due them. Which I might add they are already starting to create unjustifiable issues by saying we we were late on our February rent simply "not true".  I have my receipt of our rent money order purchased on the 3rd as with every other month, I'm sure the apartments will have a paper trail of our rent being paid every 3rd of each month.  We have witnesses that reside in the complex as well that will confirm every issue in this statement that I have stated is true.   At this time we  truly need guidance with how we should proceed to handle  these issues with the apartments simply to ensure that the apartment management cannot or will not be able tarnish our good name or reputation with the false accusations of late rent and retaliatory financial burden since they have already begun to do so. Management is already trying to tarnish our financial reputation with the non sense of our late rent issues, threats of towing our vehicle for the expired tabs that had been expired for months, not to mention calling my husband foul names stating  he is prejudice when he brings the attention to management when the heater is not repaired, which could have caused my husband bodily harm if the wrong person had heard the management saying this we could have been retaliated upon by others in the apartment complex based on what management says. We have never been in an area where you are treated so poorly when your a good tenant that pays rent on time then asking for assistance with fixing an appliance or heater in apartment for which they are responsible for maintaining the functionality of the appliance or heater this is what you pay rent for. This is there only reason for being here is to represent the apartments and help the tenants in situations of maintaining their place of residence.  Any guidance would be very appreciated since we are to move on March 13 2015. What could we do to prevent in the situation of them possibly stating something is wrong with the apartment after we have moved out.
