This company is actually just running a scamI was on vacation for a few weeks in StPete BeachMy car was towed from the Publix parking lot in StPete Beach while shopping, and when I went to retrieve my car from the towing company, I was told that Publix caught me on camera walking off the propertyWhen I went to question Publix, they told me they don't enforce towing and don't even have cameras in their parking lotsRather, the towing company is employed by the owners of the shopping center and they tow at random, with supposed "spotters" in the parking lot watching youI went back to confront A about why they lied and they responded with "stop thinking you're better than people because you're from Jersey." Hand to God, that was the responseThey couldn't answer why my car was towed, why I was lied to about why my car was towed, and proceeded instead to insult me
Without a doubt, the most dishonest, disloyal, disgusting humans I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with
I spoke the following day with a police officer and he confirmed that the towing companies are contracted independently and stopped just shy of calling it a scamBut he cautioned me to be extremely careful when parking in public spaces, because even at paid meters, they will tow
Really disappointed that stuff like this is allowed to happen
