We are sorry about this misunderstanding. We also are disappointed our good customers never allowed our sales manager, finance manager original salesman,or owner to explain what had happened. Our good customers immediately wrote this review with out giving us a chance to explain the circumstances and to assure them all was well.We understand after purchasing a rv here, these customers returned days later to take a second  look at their rv as our company graciously gave them over three weeks to pay for their rv in full. Upon returning to our business they didnt express they had already purchased the rv days before. When speaking with our  newest salesman who was not involved  in their original purchase, our new salesman thought they were a new set of customers beginning to look at rvs.He also was not aware of the previous purchase.Quite a unique set of circumstances.Perhaps a perfect setup for the perfect storm. This event made our good customers imagine we were trying to sell their rv. Our good customers today admitted that previously another local rv dealer previously sold their purchased rv out from under them. We have reminded our good customers that other  rv dealer who mistreated  them was not us!That it could never happen here. The owner of cowboys has been here for 30 years with repeat customers actually doing 7 sales here over 15 years. We are sorry for the upset and have now spoke to our good customers to let them know not to worry.  [redacted]  **

Yes we are going to give them the fact that they may have had a new salesman but yes we did tell them we had purchased this RV. even though a pending sale should have the keys removed from the sales inventory.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

We consigned our RV trailer at Cowboys RV Mart. They thoroughly and clearly explained their consignment process and we agreed to the price we would accept on our travel trailer. They then did what they said they would do, and our trailer sold in about a month, We received a check upon completion of the sale in the amount we agreed to. Couldn't be easier.

WELL AFTER THIS LAST GREAT EXPERIENCE IT WAS TIME TO SAY...YES TO THIS PLACE AGAIN.
IVE KNOWN THE OWNER IN LAKE HAVASU FOR OVER 25 YEARS....AND HE IS A TOUGH GUY TO WORK FOR. HE DEMANDS CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HE EXPECTS HIS EMPLOYEES TO FOLLOW THAT PRINCIPAL.MOST FOLKS IN HAVASU CANT CUT IT. ITS MY 4TH TIME THERE FOR SALES AND MANY MANY FOR GREAT SERVICE ON MY RV. WOW ! THATS ALL SHE WROTE...

My wife and I have been at cowboys many times over the last 11 years. They just have this way of taking care of you. Why would we go to another place ? The owner has probably been in town over 25 years. I remember when he first started and havasu only had some goofy folks to hire. He has paid his dues and now has a top rated, friendly and very honest business. My hat is off to [redacted] and his great crew!

I have dealt with Cowboys for a few years now and have always found them to be helpful, friendly and honest. Their parts and service people are knowledgeable and efficient. My wife and purchased a Montana fifth-wheel from them and will shop there first when we upgrade to a motor home in the near future.

When I put my 1995 Roadtrek Campervan for sale on [redacted], I received periodic calls from a representative from Cowboys RV--the representative would explore what price I'd be willing to go for, check with his manager, and kept emphasizing how much demand they had for Class B's and especially Roadtreks. The initial price they said they'd agree to was $9,000--if they sold it on a consignment basis.
When after 3 months I had not yet been successful and was getting busy-I explored it more carefully when he called next--I did not want a surpirse, so disclosed everything I could (my craiglist ad had listed the two main defects). This time I sent numerous photos, indentified all aspects of the RV that were issues besides my two main ones (inside coach AC didn't work and peeling paint outside), e.g., drip in a water line, a tear at a seam in the upholestry, etc. They agreed to $8,000--after the manager had checked if I would go for $7,800 (I'm 200 miles away).
So when I take the vehicle there--the story changes to $7,000.--an amount I had told them was too low--I wouldn't have driven 200 miles knowing that. They claimed rightly or wrongly that there was more wear when they saw it in person (I had spent $500 having it fully cleaned and detailed when I first put it on the market). I was in no mood to drive it back-and signed their 90 day contract, hoping at least that they would sell it quickly. They failed. .
After 90 days I rented a car and picked it up, though not before I was offered $5,500 when I called to give them my arrival time. I said, "no, I'm pretty sure I can get at least $7,000 selling it myself." As I biked back from the car rental drop off and was putting my bike on the rear of the Roadtrek, the rep who had contacted me initially and didnt recognize me in my bike gear, thought I was a possible buyer--and his starting price was $12,700.
I did get a fourth hubcap put on the vehcile-for that I thank them. I had to replace a 30 amp to standard 120 volt plug adapter and screw driver kit (Roadtreks have special screws) that were taken from the vehcile-but I do thank them for the hubcap.
Needlesstosay, I drove it home, put it up again on [redacted] for $8,400 ($500 less than my last price on craiglist before giving it to them)-and it sold in less than a week for $7,500--and I had a lot of interest.
I can't say how they work with newer vehicles or ones in pristine condition-but I can say that if you have an older vehicle that may be in good mechanical shape but has cosmetic defects and shows some wear that you likely have far better choices than Cowboys RV Mart.
I had to take almost 20 hours of my time to drive there and back twice, was misled (perhaps with no ill intent on their part) on the price, and then they weren't able to sell it. But I did get a replacement for my missing fourth hubcap.

Bought a Tritoon from Cowboys and would like everyone to know buying experience was very awesome. Boat has a factory defect and Trever on the service dept. Never left me without all knowledge of what was going on with it and never let up until I was more than satisfied. I recommend Cowboys and especially their service dept for anyone

Hello there folks......

Lets get real.....after 2 boat purchases , 1 rv purchase and 11 years of buying parts and service from Cowboys im thinking im the expert on these guys.

Great folks, great salespeople, and super deals that keep us coming back for more. They even helped me sell my boat that first sat for 16 months at the other place with no sale. Cowboys sold mine in 10 days.

Im a fan of these guys. Im just saying. Im as happy as a clam with them. [redacted]

Our experience at Cowboys RV Mart has been wonderful. Everyone is courtesy, friendly and genuine in providing the service you would want in purchasing a boat, RV or even service on your unit. They were so helpful and patient in handling our needs in a timely manner. We highly recommend interested buyers to visit Cowboys RV Mart and see for your self just how helpful and accommodating they are. If you just need parts or service on your boat or RV, please go see their Service Department. their ability to fix or find the problem is amazing. Love Cowboys RV Mart.

It is a pleasure doing business with the folks at Cowboy's. I was treated like family and with integrity during the purchase and service of my new RV.

I highly recommend this business.

Review: At initial contact with [redacted](believed to be service manager) we were given a quote of $100.00 to 1500.00 for installing new floor covering and removing old. We were to purchase flooring on our own and they would pick-up upon arrival and install. We would have to stay in a motel from Monday until Tuesday at 5pm. [redacted] called us on Monday afternoon to inform us of problems with removing old flooring. He would need an extra day to finish motorhome. We agreed and stayed in motel an extra night. The following day we returned to Cowboys approx. mid day. The crew were completing the job..Upon inspection the flooring was uneven and was not acceptable, at which time we asked them to run the sliders in, which they did and the entire section of the front room slider tore up the new flooring under the dinette. Now they informed us that the sliders should run on carpeting, which had never been told to us before. Now new carpeting had to be purchased, which we agreed to pay for carpeting only. Motor home was then supposed to be finished by Wed. evening by 5pm. We returned on Wed. approx mid day to find that the motor home was not even close to being finished. Then we were told by Thursday mid day it would be finished..We rented a cab to go pick up our motor home Thurs. when we arrived at 4:30 it was still not close to being finished. Then we were told it would be completed by noon Friday, which it was not completed until 2 pm Friday.. So this job that was supposed to cost us $1,000.00 to 1,500.00 after a disagreement to pay labot besides carpeting, to clean up their mistakes, cost us $2,800.00 plus numerous cab trips to pick up and check on motorhome and 3 extra nights in [redacted], AZ. in a motel. I have never written a complaint in my life, but now at the age of 65 I am so dissatisfied with Cowboys Rv I felt the need to register this so no one else would be taken advange of as we were. PS. I did not even mention the gouges and scratches that were put in our wood work.Desired Settlement: We should not have to pay for their mistakes..It is not our fault that they could not do the job accurately. We should only have to pay the original amount agreed upon.
