Review: I bought a cowon Iaudio 9 mp3 player from cowon/[redacted] in January of 2014. In October 2014 the player worked but could not be charged because the USB connection did not work. This player was never abused in any way, it just would not charge one day. The warranty says the player is warranted for one year and will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the buyer. I've returned it to [redacted] and they say it was damaged and they want me to pay for repairs which are going to be slightly less than replacement cost. They have been very slow to respond to my complaints to them,I usually have to write twice to get one response. I've seen on [redacted] reviews that others have had the same problem as my player and they were treated the same way by customer service that I have been. Again, this player was NEVER abused, it just would not charge one day after I had owned it for about 3 months.

Review: I requested an RMA number for my Cowon J3 portable media player (PMP) to send in for repairs, and received my number on 7/23/14. My J3 was received by Cowon on 8/18/14, and my status was updated to "PROCESSING" on 8/23/14. The RMA email request indicates a wait time of up to three weeks for a repair, but it has now been nearly 6 weeks and I've not been contacted. All attempts to reach Cowon directly fail - their only phone line constantly runs a recording indicating all personnel are busy, their online ticket-filing support system is unable to register new users, and they have no active email address to speak of.Desired Settlement: I request that repairs on my J3 be completed and that a PayPal invoice be sent to my email address (which is connected to my RMA number and was included in the originally sent package) so that I can pay any necessary fees and have my J3 returned to me via a traceable, insured courier service. If this is not feasible within a reasonable window of time, I request a status update sent to my email address immediately.
