I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I'm sorry. The respond I got went to spam email. I was not aware that the company had responded and did not accept responsibility for the bad job they did on car. They are saying that the dealer would say anything. I think they are willing to say anything to avoid responsibility. They say that a bad oil filter was installed but the problem was the belts. I could of had a bad accident and hurt not only myself but others because they could not installed the belts and one of the bolts was missing. Their respond is an insult. I've had belts changed many times in many different cars and never had that problem. I'm glad that I didn't make the mistake of taking my car back to them they are very irresponsible and I think they probably did it on purpose so that I would take my car back and cause other damages. I would never recommend them karma is a b.... and they will lose more than did.

Review: On 08/17/15 I took my car to Cox Auto Service to get some work done for the first time. My car was making a weird noise. When I picked up my car I was told that the Serpentine belts, the oil and the idler pully belts were changed. I was charged $508.31. The very same day the car started to make a loud squeaky sound every time I turned the car on. I was afraid to take my car back to Cox Auto Service in fear that they could mess my car even more. Since, I didn't have enough money I had to wait until 10/14/15 to take my car to the dealer and the results according to them was that the ac belt was loose, the ac belt tensioner was improperly assemble. The PS/ALT belt tensioner was missing dust shield, improper nut was installed and they charged me another $519.86. So, what I'm seeking is a full refund from Cox Auto Service. They don't even know how to install a belt. Can't imagine how they are still in business???Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund.

I am so sorry that this customer felt that she could not bring her vehicle back hereall are work comes . With a 2year 24,000 mile warranty . We are a Napa Auto Care Centerand we take are work to heart. I can asure you that vehicle was test Driven after work was donenothing was found to be wrong with the repairs . AS for the dealer telling the customer that the part were wrong . Thats sounds about right for a Dealer they will tell you the oil filter is wrong just because itis not from them. What the dealer should have done is sent her back here seeing that there were new belts on the car As for belt noise all belts will stretch and should be recheck . Having said all that we feelthat the work done was correct so no refund will be given[redacted]General ManagerCox Auto service
