We have reviewed our customer’s account so we could best review how to address their concerns. The Monthly Recurring Charge (MRC) on the account when it was...

installed was a promotional rate. After 3 months the promotion ended and the MRC reverted to the retail rate. Most recently Cox implemented a rate action for all customers. This event was the reason for the increase in the MRC. In speaking with the customer we determined that replacing the existing digital receivers with mini-boxes would lower the MRC while retaining the level of service. We also applied a 12 month campaign reducing the base rate for our customer. is what our customer saw in their bill statement.  At the time of the initial order, all agents are instructed to inform our customers agreeing to a discount of its expiration date. Discount  dates vary and are added at different times throughout the year -that is why it is verbally acknowledged.  On 5.2.15 we see our customer spoke to one of our agents and had renewed into a new discount offer. The date of this new offer is from 5.2.15 through the expiration date 5.6.16. We appreciate our customer’s patronage, we applied a one time credit to the customer's account in the amount of $50.00 for overall good relations. Thank you, The Customer Experience team
