I recently had problems with my Cox Cable, [redacted] was the technician sent out to resolve my problemNot only did he resolve my problem, but when it became difficult tracking the issue, he stuck to it, made the calls that needed to be made, and was fantastic with his overall attitude, work ethic, and completing the task of resolving my problemstars to [redacted] and Cox Cable, you need more Tech's Like ***I am one pleased customer

Been with this extortionistic company for over yrsBecause of their monopoly they add on charges,tell us we can't drop a service without our costs going up, because they so called bundled the costsVery deceitful practicesThey talk us into using contourAfter remotes that suck up the battery energy(have to change batteries every days), we wanted to go back to our old boxThey said we were on contour and could only go down in service to contour ( Didn't know there was a 1&2.) No pictures of shows available and only line of sight remoteI asked how much my bill would go downNot a cent When will they actually serve the customers wishes instead of the almighty dollarLike other customer , we have constant hassles over hike in charges and dealing with this so inconvenient companyThis company at the time of our complaint has 67% negative reviews out of We are currently waiting for our 3rd remote to arriveFor shame!!!!!!!!

years of headacheUnfortunately we live in an area where cable and internet is monopolized by Cox CommunicationsWe have always paid our bill on time and used a lot of the upgraded services offered by Cox such as DVR, highest internet speed, HBO, etcOur introductory offer was reasonable and fit our budgetOnce that was over, though working with Cox has been a hassleOver the past months I have had to call, almost monthly because our bill was significantly more than the negotiated priceCox keeps overcharging us hoping we won't noticeEach month when we receive the incorrect bill, I have to call and fight for the price that was previously agreed upon It's frustrating and a waste of both my time and the representative I work withWe even had a dish company come out to our home hoping to switchUnfortunately our beautiful trees did not permit itBecause of this frustration, we have taken our services down to the bare bones cable and internet for the remainder of our time here in ***If you have a different option for Cable and internet, I would recommend going with that different option

we are a small business and have had Cox Omaha telephone and internet service since when it works, it is fine; over these years they seem to have some sort of outage at least once or twice a year, including today when we were not receiving calls, at least we could call out we even moved our office once to escape their unstable service now we are considering switching to *** or add them as a backup to Coxor we might go with an answering service that is not on the Cox platform

Switching my service to my new house has created a month ordeal of my accountIt use to be set up on easy pay so that my bill was paid on time every month however after I have moved residences and went through the process to reset the payment system it has been totally botchedMonth after month I have been guaranteed that my easy pay is set up which ends up to be untrue and results in a overdue fineThis has now happened at least times nowI have had phone calls spanning hours being transferred from one department to the next only to be asked to go to a solutions storeI was given a reduced rate for a month of service because of my negative experience and of course the issue was not corrected and I ended up being charged double that monthThey are always very friendly however their inability to solve what should be a simple problem blows my mind and has created so much added stress in my lifeThis problem has persisted for so long and through so many times of me reaching out to them to help that there is no way that they deserve their A+ rating

Been with this extortionistic company for over 24 yrs. Because of their monopoly they add on charges,tell us we can't drop a service without our costs going up, because they so called bundled the costs. Very deceitful practices. They talk us into using contour. After 2 remotes that suck up the battery energy(have to change batteries every 5 days), we wanted to go back to our old box. They said we were on contour 2 and could only go down in service to contour 1. ( Didn't know there was a 1&2.) No pictures of shows available and only line of sight remote. I asked how much my bill would go down. Not a cent. When will they actually serve the customers wishes instead of the almighty dollar. Like other customer , we have constant hassles over hike in charges and dealing with this so inconvenient company. This company at the time of our complaint has 67% negative reviews out of 224. Once that was over, though working with Cox has been a hassle. Over the past 6 months I have had to call, almost monthly because our bill was significantly more than the negotiated price. Cox keeps overcharging us hoping we won't notice. Each month when we receive the incorrect bill, I have to call and fight for the price that was previously agreed upon. It's frustrating and a waste of both my time and the representative I work with. We even had a dish company come out to our home hoping to switch. Unfortunately our beautiful trees did not permit it. Because of this frustration, we have taken our services down to the bare bones cable and internet for the remainder of our time here in [redacted]. If you have a different option for Cable and internet, I would recommend going with that different option.
