I am rejecting the company's response as being disingenuous with respect to the cost of the work, alleged service performed by his employees, and the alleged conversation between me and Mr***Firstly, we had a verbal agreement to put a cap on the chimney by way of cement for $(plus materials) because Mr*** observed that there was no flue liner on 10/08/In addition, I showed him a neighbor's chimney cemented cap with no liner and told him that I wanted the finished job to look similarIn turn, Mr*** responded, not a problem but I will have to pay $each for two guys (one to hold the ladder and the other to climb the ladder) because of his insurance requirement for this type of job due to safety concernsWhen Mr*** sent an email on 10/10/to inform me that he purchased the chimney cap and to make him aware of a good time to do the chimney, again he knew that there was no liner based on his inspection of the chimney on 10/08/from the streetLastly, regarding the other above mentioned reasons for rejecting the company's response, the email conversations provided to you between Mr*** and I do not support his defense for keeping money that was not earned because Mr*** did not mention said defense during those email conversationsInstead, he apologized on two occasions for the delay to the agreed upon service on 11/03/and 11/07/respectively.

Please explain how my company is being compensated for two men from Handy performing work on your homeThat is all I need to knowIf I feel Handy is liable to pay back $then we willHandy is not a free service and you had two men utilizing a ladder work on your homeYou then wrote them a check for $as agreed.
